  7. Hey guys, how do you remove the circular drivers side air vent on a R32? Short and sweet
  8. WRXs are not limited. they're just slow he he.
  9. Possibly but the hose I took off wasn't specifically fuel hose? Looked identical. If you can find fuel hose that big it would be better to use it though....
  10. Don't worry about it dude, each company makes different stuff. THey also have Denso radiators made by Toyota My belts were all Bitsamissing too.....
  11. Bump, willing to negitiate, these parts are taking up room and I want them gone.
  12. No worries dude, maybe this should be made a sticky. The leaky R32s are coming out of the woodwork... Now for that rocker cover oil leak.......
  13. Nah dude no need to drop the tank. Look at the top of the filler pipe you'll see another smaller hose joining it the size of a heater hose. Follow it down, it heads toward the back of the car and joins the tank. Its at the tank junction its most likely to be perished. Change the whole hose, costs sfa, just get one that's a close match. Filled my car up today choccas and its fine, no smell or anything. beauty.
  14. Read my thread further down the page, probably the same problem. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=75374
  15. cheers dude, sounds like a lot of work Don't think my car would be going up those ramps, too low. That's why I will probably have to get someone to do it, need a hoist.
  16. Exactly, as if mr and mrs joe schmo will be driving down the road and think: "geez, haven;t seen any hoons for a while"
  17. I think commys should be able to write tyres off to tax as part of the deal when new My mates VU SS seems to like tyres too.....
  18. Hey guys, My gearbox is leaking from what looks like the speedo sender area. When I get it fixed i'm looking at doing a oil change too. How much am I looking at for a Gearbox oil change? Labour and oil? Is it a job that can be done yourself? cheers! sorry if its been posted before.
  19. I've had two now, not real impressed with them. Both were new model Bels. They are legal to own and use though. Nizmo: Same here, my first was nabbed
  20. Build a Bridge. It can't and won't be stopped. Its been happening since the dawn of time. It doesn't effect enough of the population to considered an epidemic IMO Focus on better things, things that will be noticed.
  21. Hey guys, I'm only writing this since I had this problem and now a mate with an R32 has the same thing. Ever since I imported my car there has been a fairly pronounced fuel smell all the time. I put this down to rich mixtures as my Silvia had the same thing. Recenty when I filled up my car it started peeing itself everywhere. I thought it was the compliance restrictor but turns out no. On the top right of the fuel tank looking from the back there is a vent hose just behind the main filling pipe. This was perished beyond a joke on my car and was leaking like a siv. To access the pipe you need to take off the right rear wheel and the plastic liner on the left hand side of the wheel arch that covers the fuel filler pipe. You'll see the vent hose that leads to the top near the filler and thento the top of the tank. Take off the crappy hose gripper things and bin them. Take off the pipe and measure it against a pipe at Repco/supercheap whatever. I used the heater hose off an old falcon. Not a perfect fit but good enough. Also buy two decent hose clamps. Cut the pipe to length and install over the lips at both ends. The filler side is easy to attach and tighten up however the nipple is only plastic so don't go crazy tightening it up. The tank side is a bit harder, requiring monkey arms or two people. To get access to be able to do up the fuel tank side hose clamp you need to open the boot, take off the little liner door on the right and reach down, you'll feel a plastic boot vent. There are two 10mm nuts holfing this on at the top and some nasty black sealant. Once the nuts are off, jimmy the vent with a screw driver till it comes off. WATCH THE BOOT LINING! The black stuff is sticky as hell. Now with someone on the floor holding the clamp from the bottom you should be able to get a socket screw driver (don't use a regular flat head) onto the clamp going in throught the hole made by the missing vent. Its a metal nipple so do it up quite tight to prevent leakage. Replace all your lining and stuff, check the filler hose to see if that is okay (mine was fine) and your done! Enjoy your new smell free car.
  22. Hey guys, just wondering if any R32s came from the factory without a spoiler. I wanna get my boot holes done but I'd rather swap my boot and GTR spoiler for an un tainted one... anyone?
