not a skyline thread but relative. a guy from work just got back from the states as he went over with his harley for the big anniversary, any way they were all parked up in some town, harley,s as far as the eye could see and some guys were doing burnouts so he thought he would show them a real aussie burnout after getting it going he got a tap on the shoulder, the law, well he got charged with [an unsafe leave] total fine $70.00 as you can guess he was pretty happy with this considering the penalties in australia for this [offence?] chris ps. not that responsible skyline owners would ever condone burnouts..

docile. if you have more than 12 accumulated points then you will find that when you get your license back the extra points will have been deducted off the 12, my son lost his for three months and when he got it back he had already lost 10 and has been sitting on 2 points since,[ he lost a lot in a short time after after he hit 12 but before they took it away.... ] chris

can any body tell me if the factory boost guage on an r33 is electric ie does it have a sender unit or is it connected to a vacuum - boost hose, mine has stopped working and i want to find out where to start looking before pulling the dash apart. chris

r31 power, in the photo it shows the r200 which proved strong enough in my 280z drag car to run 11.68 @117mph so hopefully can take the lexus power, i was going to look at 300z brakes but if steve says the r33 brakes fit then i,ll look for a set of those. chris

optic had a yellow for his and after we had modified it to make it safer, eg thicker end plates the inspector was writing out the permit and one of his colleagues saw the wing and commented [you cant give him a permit with that hanging off the back] anyway he wrote it out and passed the mod, so even the inspectors have different opinions.

adam if you take your car to a good radiator shop they can test your system to see if you have hydrocarbons in your coolant [indicating gasket problems] i saw john at choice radiators in bellvue and straight away the machine showed problems. chris

docile,we have bought 2 r33,s from autoworx, very good condition and he also goes over them well prior to sale. chris

Adam 32 when i used to run my drag car [351 powered 280z] 109mph =12.2-12.4 so you are certainly making the power, its just having it usable and having good traction. chris

i saw 13.7 and 14.1 but traction was a problem chris

yes kym did beat his previous not sure what his best was but he was happier. i went ran a best of 14.56 not too shabby for an auto although most of the manuals had traction problems.

autoworx in wangara have r33 mats fit well and look good not sure on price but good for protection. chris
