where do u get ur figures from ??? Ive known rbs to last into 300thou been modified, of course a head gasket will go etc... general maintence and wear and tear items ... it all depends how you drive it, do you flog it everywhere, do u regularly change oil, filters coolant ? things to make the engine healthy ... keep things within limits, ensure all precautions have been taken and it will last. Drive sensibly on the roads also naturally.

? i beleive they said they already had a 6x4 trailer ... it would be a much better and viable option to sell of the trailer and buy materials, as, if you make the actual chasis of the trailer to suit the exterior design it will flow alot easier ??? :| dang, didnt take a pic of the last trailer i worked on i could help although various tools help i cant bring a mig welder from work ... i dont thik they will let me:(

so who's actually going to do all the work ? why dont u start with just a frame, and build a complete custom trailer, you could design it so much better ...

u can get those bolts from any bolt bar, ie economy bolts, coventry bolts, etc there are a heap and cheltenam or ye, there are a few in moorabbin and that area... i think they are usually just standard m5 threaded nuts ... take a sample if u want, get black, zinc plated or good ol stainless steel for the shiny goodness

perfect time to add cams i must say as the head would be ripped off, machined, perhaps fully rebuilt such an ass of a job, if RE get their ass into gear its not a lengthy process, all depends if the heads warped etc ... stupid machinests !!! bad luck wayne... hope she's all hunky dory soon if u have blown a big hole in the gasket keep it as a momento, i wish i kept the head gasket off my vl when i blew a hole about the size of a dollar coin in it

thing is people, yes i cbf reading it all since my last post some of the cars ppl enter in shows are show cars. never driven etc ... and yet they get canaries, several years ago, when i owned my vl, member of the calaisturbo club (dont ask why i really dont knwo :s) and all that, they had a vl at austosalon onice i think it was. wasnte even registered or being driven on the road, at the time, and it sitll had a canary on it .. yup good ol police im all for doing the right thing ... but striking at things like this is stupid. And they do it at car club events. If the police were more serious about things, there are better ways to go about it, and it could always improve the barrier between the two worlds and paul, if im not mistaken, i beleive your car is illegally modified, ill make sure ill inform the police

Get your car towed because u were speeding doing burnouts or something well then thats too bad for you. i hope u know ford brought out a turbo 4 litre inline 6 along time before the ba but only being a limited run never reallyheard anything from them ... just say, it all depends on how the drivers treat them also alot of the people that drive them could highly like start the car and thrash them whlie cold, u dont know the full story and if your bagging build quality ... why do they do this? do you have any evidance that a particular item is to blame?

yup ur correct, because giving a p plater a 350kw car means they can handle things in sticky situations. yes, u can lose control in a low powered car, generally its alot easier to correct or stop it. high powered cars tend to rev alot easier, once things go outta control and therefore make it a more unstable condition ... especially in the wet. personally ... i think at least the first 12 months there should be laws to stop ANY modification to a car, and it would have to be a gayly underpowered car ... i know if i had my 2nd car as my first car, it would of been into a pole, just because of my inexperiance ... i dislike people that think they are top drivers, and yet are aweful/inconsiderate drivers.
