  10. send me a pm with a pic or pm me your msn adress, interested i nthe front bar, what colour is it?
  11. where are people mounting it? we mounted mine (just jap on a 33 s2) onto the metal bumper support with the brackets provided.. wanan know if there a good place on the under side to bolt to aswell for more support? we started doing mine today ( had to stop cause we wanted to wait and get a 3 inch circle cutter drill piece) also we decided to cut the nipple off (for acutator vaccumline) the original stock pipe and weld it onto the other stock pipe as that one is a perfect fit.. what did other people do?
  12. Just bumpiung this back up with a pic of it, still noone seems to know what it is. my guess is that it changes something to do with the airflow meter, the dial of adjustment ranges from -10% to +10% it its set to high the car wont boost, some settings it wont idle properly and others it seems to have a big flat spot after around 3500rpm... if anyone knows what it is or know where it should roughly be set let me know thanks
  13. edit- double post
  14. I know its a little off topic, but im looking for a clutch for mine too in the near future and dunno wat to get... ONy jsut got the car freshly imported, and only ever gonna have it running a max of around 180-200rwkw it currently has a stock clutch im assuming as it is light as and easy to use in my old car i used extreme cltuches i didnt mind them but it was in an awd bluebird with about 160-170 awkw they are hugely heavy (bent the peddle box) and very harsh to drive with, but seemed to hold up to the pressure of huge launches ect what would people reccomend eg brand, and type (not just brand i.e cushioned multi-button, ceramic ect) for daily driving and all round pefromance, as in occasional launching, bit of a muck around drifting and the usual... but still farily streetable that the mrs can have a drive and not struggle too much with it?
  15. nice lil mod, makes them not feel so sluggish... good tempory thing untill can wind the boost up... when i put a front mount on, i will also put a rb20 acutator on that i have here, do i still need to leave that grounded one i use the rb20 acuator or can i remove it?
  16. thanks mate, where are u grounding it too? i dont have a multimeter to test whats a strong grounding point
  17. hey guys is this the correct two wires? jsut need to confirm before i chop the balc nad ground, its not clearly stated where it is locatted (im jsut assuming its this lot as it leads back to the actuator
  18. hey i just got my r33 today from the compliance place and it has a controller in it called and MS AFR air flow resetter in it, looks like some sort of boost control i think? did a search, and googled but nothing came up, anyone able to shed any light into what it actually is?
  19. well if you need to have another go at it order the optical trigger disk from them, thats the problem, whoever your talking to much be an idiot not to realise. we had exactly the same problem when first installing it on the sr20det bleubird
  20. reguardless of it being a plugin unit, the optical trigger disk goes into the distributor so, you still needed it... and that was why you had all the problems, if you looked into the manuals you would have realised(its in there clear and simple). but whoever from wolf you talked to though should have told you unless you didnt tell them the GTiR was using a dizzy and they woulda just assumed it was like an silvia/180 sr20. like you said though they have gone for all the technical shit and only the people who are experts at them can get it all to work. they arn't user friendly to tuners of your normal microtech/pfc and other common systems.
  21. with the GTi-R did you buy the aftermarket optical trigger disk for the dizzy? I owned a HNU12 bluebird running a wolf3dv4 and even though i had direct fire ignition, timing problems and restrictions are going to happen unless u use the optical trigger disk. My experiance with wolfs is that they are a fairly good system, finding somone to tune them and tune them well is a problem. Mine was tuned fairly well and not even on a AWD dyno by Redline rotary by alex blackson(had an expensive problem on a 4wd drive dyno with a local PFC tuner who had no idea how to tune wolfs), anyone in the sydney area with a wolf, or wanting more infomation on them should talk to him, he is a f**king genius. Wolfs have plenty of extra options and capabilites and they have no released the V400 and also new display units which will help them get into the market better. They are a very good bit of gear when tuned correctly but many have problems because they are on of the harder ECU's out there for tuning purposes. In saying that i will probably go for a PFC with the R33 simply because its a bit cheaper ($500) and the ease of having plenty of tuners around and not having to go all the way to sydney, but will see when the time comes and that its not going into a car with huge amount of mods or planned mods as the bluebird had
  22. are the nylon wheels stronger?
