Should be able to source 200 cell R32 cat... unsure how easy it would be to get it to Malta though.- 17 replies

get some flares on them, or wider guards haha

The povo spec CA18S one, yeah. All turbos had 16x6.5 5 stud and 4pot brakes.

Search for your VIN in gtr-registry.com and see what it left with from factory. There's 4.3:1 and 4.11:1 diff ratios IIRC, can't remember what models had what. Also could be tyre size, by factory the speedo reads a tad quicker >80 km/h but constantly out be 10 km/h is weird. Maybe someone wound the odometer back, and accidentally bumped the needle up?
-
Your car was auto before? You have different diff ratio (auto vs manual i think? or n/a and turbo?)

+1 for getting a screen off alibaba, CarPlay/Android Auto is vastly better than whatever navigation cars had 10 years ago. I got an Android screen for my 2015 BMW, huge difference. Fully compatible with factory stuff including iDrive controls.

After being peer-pressured into paying $100 for the MW remakes, got BO6 on XBox Game Pass. I think that's worth it.

HoMoArt!

Sports car sales are minuscule. CUVs are where the sales are, and every manufacturer including Ferrari are catering for those buyers. Sadly. Can't even get a wagon for less than $50k.

The FD RX7 is the best looking 90's JDM car

S15 Silvia looks nice. -
Sorry I was being harsh there, but am I wrong? You can buy a M340i easily, and there's loads available second hand. A lot more workshops modifying them as well. How about getting parts for them? Don't get me wrong, I'd love a 400R, even a 4cyl (I looked at a few V36s before buying my shitbox BMW). Sadly Infiniti died in Aus and we're stuck with importing them as niche vehicles. Supply and demand

Probably straight swap for an R32 GT-R? lol

Gr.1 at Le Mans track... struggled to get 3:35

The fact that Hypergear has been posting here for like 10+ years would 100% make me go to him for a turbo upgrade. Glad you got what you wanted from them.

A little PU bush story

I second this motion. GTSBoy you need to start posting vids man. -
Yep that sounds like a scam. Avoid that company if you can.

Mate. Your car is like 20 years old. Expect that the rubber bits (seals, hoses, etc.) needs to be replaced. Best bet is to carefully go through your engine bay and try to find parts that need replacing (e.g. rubber hoses). for your power steering issue, best bet is to pull off the pump (not that hard, you can buy basic tools from Supercheap et. al. to remove it) and then inspect/get it rebuilt. *edit* forgot to add, no idea on R34, but my R32 HICAS computer has been playing up since I bought it (10+ years ago), so I just disconnected the small plug to "disable" HICAS but keep my power steering. So something extra for you to look into.

PRP RB26 cast block + head prototype running
niZmO_Man replied to joshuaho96's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Something to keep in mind, RB26DETT was dreamt up in 1986-1987 for the Group A regulations. So to compare it to a post-2005 engine is not the best. You must Compare the RB26DETT to its contemporaries, like the YB (which it killed off), the 1GG, 1JZ, whatever 5L V8 Ford/Holden had, etc. etc. aka late 1980's tech. When you're trying to match RB26 to a S58, you've gone off the deep end already and are looking at custom block/head/etc so no longer a standard engine. Technology has come a long way from 1990 to 2020. -
My guess: integrated power distribution module. So instead of a bunch of different electrical circuits with separate fuses and relays, most of the "low voltage" stuff goes through a centralised distribution block/module (saves on manufacturing costs).

370gt Stock Suspension
niZmO_Man replied to Ben Henry's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I don't think coilovers can pass roadworthy, so might need non-height-adjustable-struts? I'd ring as many "JDM" parts wreckers as I could in your area to hopefully land some V36 suspension.
