Koito low beam projector out of various Japanese cars should fit without too much trouble, just need to fab up a bracket. I have a bunch of projectors to try, haven't got around to it yet...
There's also the Morimoto M-LED 2.0 which is basically almost a bolt in projector, easy peasy LHD LED projector with probably the best aftermarket output available.
The only correct answer is to replace the shitty halogen projectors with something modern, D2S projectors very easily go into the housing. It's literally a no brainer unless you're dumbe enought to believe that some shitty LED bulb will give you a better output.
Nicely done. Thanks for the updates.
Curious if the motor would be similar 90's Japanese cars, surely Nissan didn't specify a unique motor just for those models you listed...
Wasn't that the point of them? Especially the 'auto' version? I remember reading about WRX vs. Evo and the Subaru interior/daily drive-ability was praised compared to Evo.
a lot of the "old school" as in pre-milleninal soldering would be fixable as they're relatively easy to see (the tracks, joints).
I would recommend re-flowing all the joints just for the hell of it, as most likely a dodgy joint might be the issue.
Otherwise, replacing the newer units' components may be difficult.
Same here. Always need to wear those Ansell gloves after not working on cars for a decade + soft skin
I have 2 pairs of standard R32/R33 turbos if you want hehe (good condition)
