  1. Don't know if R34s suffer the same headlight switch issue, but try another switch? Does the ballast make any weird noise compared to the other one? Tried to switch the ballasts?
  2. Always better to use street pads for the street and track pads on the track. Also look at brake cooling (ducts).
  3. I got my passenger side seal for $80+deliver from Tarrks (R32).
  4. Look up your VIN.
  5. Dark chocolate you say...
  6. Here is a crappy pic of the second set I did. Painted the cover thing to make it look like R31 style Get a pair of projector headlights and sell your N1s (they are more valuable). You can retrofit the Morimoto Mini H1 (or D2S) into reflectors, but pointless really.
  7. 10W-40 Synthetic I run Penrite 10W-40 in my GT-R (couldn't find any SIN5, so using 10 tenths). You can run 5W-50 or 10W-50 if you wish. I replace the filter every oil change, use Z442 as it's smaller and easier to replace (R32 GT-Rs are cramped lol). Z145 is the usual filter though.
  8. Put standard airbox on.
  9. The reflectors (N1) headlights spread the light better compared to the projectors. If you really want brighter lights, do a retrofit . It will shit all over whatever halogen stuff you can find.
  10. http://www.facebook.com/LuddenhamRaceway Looks promising.
  11. Are those mounts for GT-R? I'm guessing with the mounts they take 355mm discs, am I correct to assume that?
  12. Surprise surprise, projectors makes a difference after all! 4300K is white and I'm very happy with them. I'm not going to bother with 5000K bulbs. Ordered a pair of Philips 85122+ bulbs, lets see the difference compared to the Chinese stuff.
  13. R32 projectors are absolute shithouse. The projectors in my R31 are 3x better. Don't bother putting a HID kit in, you will be disappointed, plus the glare from standard projectors is disgraceful. Step 1. Put relays in, unless you like burning out the headlight switch or your whole car. Step 2. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/93963-xenon-hid-lights-conversion-for-r32/ Massive, massive difference. I wouldn't bother with anything else. I've tried different setups, HID kits, higher wattage bulbs (H3 of course, don't bother with blue bulbs even if they're 100W). I wish I went straight to HID retrofit, would have saved $$$$. As mentioned, 4300K is the colour you want (HID). 5000K for fully sickness, anything higher is pure wank and you will see less.
  14. I daily drove my HCR32, then my GT-R. Been daily-ing my GT-R for two years now, sometimes hitting 1,000+km per week (for old work). Yes fuel wise it's stupid, but hey, they are cars and are meant to be driven. Only issue I had were the AFMs playing up and an alternator dying, but it's a twenty year old car, what do you expect? Don't know why people thing they will explode every time you hit boost. Nowadays I do far less kms, but will park it as soon as I rego my R31, it's not that safe parked at train station. BTW, low km imports are generally a load of crap. When I bought the Nismo cluster for mine, I wound the km forward to match the old cluster's mileage.
  15. Most definitely.
  16. Sounds like Air Flow Meters are stuffing up.
  17. Hub centric rings? Nissan diameter is 66.1mm from memory, although I may be wrong.
  18. I'm a bit confused. Aren't you selling the car? Unless you have two GT-Rs... Interested in the turbos, hence the post.
  19. Got mine today, cheers!
  20. Makes sense. I can't remember the NEO head it's been a few years. My bad.
  21. I can hear my BOVs work on my GT-R , standard everything in the engine bay.
