Rails have been flattened (bolts straight onto R31 rails, but you can mod it fairly easily or just swap with R33 rails), backrest and pockets are in great condition. Always slowed down when it was wet/soggy, plus I don't drive a turbro so don't get much up to 60 km/h anyway. My "full tilt" is slower than your "warming up the tyres" haha.

Sorry I sounded a bit of a dickhead in the last post. No harm done, first time is always scary, always better to take it easy then roll down the mountain. No need to apologise, it was a cruise after all. Only did the pass once at full tilt when I went with my relo and another bloke in an R31 GTS1. Back then my car was even worse (stock engine, leaking Monroes) but it was awesome fun. I did chase a bike up the pass once when I was leading a couple of R31s hahaha. It's the only place apart from race tracks where you can open it up without going to jail.

Just in case you missed it, I was that curry dude in the shitty R31. I'm a bit shy/antisocial so I won't really talk to anyone unless I'm approached, especially if it's all new people. Also, did I get stuck behind first timers? Because that was the slowest I went up mac pass with no traffic

Wow didn't realise there were a few from Campbelltown. Umm if you guys wanna have a meet up then that's fine with me, else I'll just head over to crossroads. Wait the plan is to cruise down M5 then turn off at Picton Rd>Mt Keira Rd right? Last time I went down Appin Rd, then continued on Wilton Rd, across the Cataract river then Picton Rd. Traffic is usually low this way but the roads are ordinary. Does take longer though. Haha I'll just find a bunch of Skylines and follow them, less thinking

Last time I went on a sunny Saturday, there were people towing boats/horse floats up Mac Pass (I went up and down the pass three times, never got a clean run for more than 2 minutes). It's usually worse on Sunday. So expect lots of traffic. Last pie run we (r31sc) had I used Mt. Keira as a warm up but there were people on bicycles on the road <_<, so if anyone wants to head down that way then let me know (live just before Campbelltown). If I'm alone I might as well tag along from CrossRoads. I was gonna go last weekend but had to get new tyres for rego =\ Can't wait to open it up, it's been a while (two months lol).

Hmm the road toll went up... Lets put more hidden speed cameras up so we can pay for our holidays safety studies road safety stuff... How about fix the damn roads, and not allow retards on the road? More speed cameras mean more people staring at their speedos instead of looking at the road
