  1. New head unit? Run all new wires, the standard 1988 wires aren't that good, especially now. You only need 2 wires from the factory head unit plug (+12V constant and Ignition).
  2. Do you have all the brackets and stuff? Should be sort of figurable if you climb under the car and try to line it all up.
  3. Yeah broadly speaking, throw the sensors on new wheels, then tell your car to do a reset/re-learn via the infotainment system. I can't recall if newer BMWs need new sensors (probably since it's "German engineered", but I hope Nissans don't.
  4. That's good, because the gears for the speedo inside the gearbox can break if you don't have matching sensor (on the pre-R34 era cars), then you're screwed haha.
  5. Try to use as least amount of factory stuff as possible haha. Also chuck a write up here if you're bothered, might help a fellow V-skyliner.
  6. The Aisin 8spd automatic in my re-skinned Mini still going strong after 100k km, just sayin' You could get F48, since I highly doubt your missus would approve of F45 (basically same thing but non-SUV). Or get a Mini hehehe. B48 engine goes hard, like SR20 but with plastic bits haha.
  7. Depend what sort of wheels you have. Diameter wise it should be fine, but need caliper clearance (back-space).
  8. I wish they had C35 Laurels in GT, I'd drive the doors off it.
  9. Behind paywall, and my umatrix managed Firefox didn't display anything meaningful. But the title looks promising hehe.
  10. One option would be to find the head unit line out to the factory amp, and intercept/use that as input to your new amp (have to wire up separate speakers of course). I went through something similar with my old CU2 Accord Euro (has a factory 7-ch Panasonic amp, which gets fed by some weird built-in equaliser in the HU). Pain in the arse to try to keep it factory-ish (I went to the trouble of finding compatible connector on aliexpress and then wiring it all up).
  11. Yeah i got 2 silvers, gold too much for me on a controller. Been doing weekly challenges (only get like an hour or two to play per week recently, been busy with other stuff). Solid $700-900k after you cash in the tickets (and get clean racing bonuses hehe).
  12. You need to post a price up mate. At the very least.
  13. general rule of thumb: If you want stock-ish fitment, 8 to 8.5 +35 front 9. to 9.5 +38 rear These are Nismo sizes for RWD Nissans. From that baseline, you grab a tape measure an figure our where your new set of wheels will fit. @Adz2332 please specify what car you have, what body panels, and what modifications you will be running. GT-R owners like me have it easy, but RWD owners, have a bit more calculations to run. You can obviously run "GT-R" sizes, which would be 9"+30. But that heavily depends on your preference. This rant is completely ignoring any StanceNations specs/looks.
  14. we call it "dirty 30" down here hehe. Reliable blocks (as they were made in the 80's with poor fuel and oil control). Lots of R31/VL turbo people make 300kW from stock blocks. But yeah if you fly down here, can hire a can and drive around Mt Panorama (Bathurst), as it's a public 60 km/h road when there's no events on.
  15. I do not miss parking in Amsterdam. Great city otherwise though. Awesome car mate, must turn a lot of heads over there. Love it.
  16. they're called radiator cooling panels. Maybe Japan? No idea of anyone in Australia made a decent version.
  17. Holy moly that undercarriage. Wet dream for R32 owners (like myself).
  18. OMFG I forgot about the time trials. I was just doing the Sadegna 15 lapper (use CLK GT-R LM race car)
  19. All good haha. We try to keep it old school around here.
  20. Welcome to Skyline ownership. I assume you are from USA. Please browse around these forums, there are decades worth of information here. Everything you asked has been answered. You can start in the RB26 dyno thread and see what power people made with what mods.
  21. perhaps there was a pool of coolant in the chassis or subframe and it finally escaped??
  22. Multiple threads merged. Please read the rules before creating new threads.
  23. I play single player stuff, trying to do some credit farming so I can buy the rare cars when they come up (e.g. Hakosuka).
  24. You'd probably have to replace the unit. Or just use your phone? Look for an Alibaba Android head unit and Android Auto/CarPlay/mirror your phone?
