  1. You know whats funny, as you get older your view changes on a lot of things. I used to be "cops suck this, cops suck that, i got a yellow boo-fkin hoo" NOW If i see a cop car, I might take a different route, I drive sensibly, and IF I do get pulled over, I just talk normal. I don't suck their dick, I don't say sorry for something I didn't do. I don't act cool, I just act normal. Never had a problem since. 80% of cops are good. But you never hear those stories. The other 20% clearly aren't nice. But you ALWAYS hear about those.
  2. WOW. I just laughed so hard.
  3. Xtreme 9puck ceramic, 2500lbs pressure plate Lasted 4 years of abuse, just had it rebuilt. Got another one of the same.
  4. What Paul said
  5. Would you have changed cars if it weren't for the accident?
  6. What value is the inspection report to you anyway? The seller has gone out of their way to take their car for YOU, for an inspection and they get nothing out of it if the deal doesn't go through then? Each to their own I guess :|
  7. Yes. Of course. What good is an inspection report of someone else's car to me?

  9. Jesus roy! Big enough sig?
  10. :| you mean.... alu has 7 letters, polycarb the has 9. slim/original sizes in both Custom plate fees Fee Type Fee Custom aluminium $335.00 Custom polycarbonate $455.00
  11. Easy. You pay for it. Even if you don't buy the car, the seller has an inspection report for the next buyer
  12. In perth it's loads cheaper, i got mine done for 50bux once, then another was 100, the gf got hers done for 120, and recently an entire timing/fuel/safc tune was $160. Food for thought on what really takes 15-20mins on the dyno
  13. Yes, there was spacers used to get those rims to fit. Old thread. Closed btw.

    Dyno Use

Your going to buy a dyno yourself? OK cool - something like that can be good if your with it fulltime. Random visits for power runs would be cool!
  16. Matty you got shafted by Xspeed!
  17. Send it back to Murnane, get it fixed. and be done with it. End of story. OR ask Slide for a refund and save your coin for a HKS jobbie
  18. Ahhh, you found someone - great! I know doing mine (yes, i snapped 4 of them!) was a royal biatch of a job!
  19. I reckon if your gonna do it - get it done with a few close mates. Say about 5-6 of you. Clearly defined bays etc, and a single 2-post hoist is pretty easy to manage
  20. Always a good idea, in theory. There's probably a few warehouses you could rent out in welshpool for like $800-1000month (20 members would be $50/month each) I've thought about this a few times together with a few mates, however it always fails. How about setting something like this up on a commercial basis? ie. you become a member of the workshop for $x/month with a 12month commitment, and you may schedule your workshop time accordingly and use the tools therein. There's a huge trust issue I guess, I wouldn't want randoms rummaging through my car while its in a shared workshop, and losing/breaking MY tools.... see? Food for thought, good luck in your quest!
  21. why on earth would you do that ? you DO realise eleventy billion skyline nerds have beat off over that pic by now
  22. OK, so i proved that it IS NOT possible to replace the clutch pivot without dropping the box. I took it to a clutch shop and got them to do it. Oh, and a whole new clutch while I was at it!
  23. Go hug a tree, hippy. Oh, and if you have one single mod on your car (air filter, bov, exhaust) you've also changed emissions on your car. So stop. Pot. Kettle. Black.
  24. no wai!
