just really crunchy, and there are still splinters of metal coming out when you bleed the p/s from the rack. it also boils over alot again.. it stopped as soon as I got it rebuilt.. but then it came back again shortly after. I think the boiling is the pump and the metal splinters are the rack. I can't remember the exact cost, but it was about 1000 to get the pump and rack done, including removing and replacing it... probably a bit more as i got it done in two stages and I remember the last bill was 1000 (which included somethign else aswell) I haven't even been giving it a hard time. actually.. f**kin hell, that shits me... i had a spare power steering rack at my mechanics now that i think about it.
