For starters, I’m located in the states. I bought my gtt few years back and has been sitting in storage until legal to import. Car is in Canada so I am able to see it occasionally. The car came with an Impul boot lid and the previous owner left holes in the boot lid. I bought a GtR spoiler for it but only one hole matches up. I fear that I cannot drill new holes to make it match up properly without merging the old holes. So I’m looking for an oem boot lid for a 2 door.

Ive worked on many cars and their power steering but never one with hicas before. On my garage floor there seems to be some small amount of oil but that is more so in the middle/drivers side of the undercarriage. Definitely not the color of ps fluid.

My guess is low oil? I recall a week or so starting the car and it kinda made that rattle noise and then when I went to drive out of the garage it was like the passenger front tire was frozen. Had to give it good amount of throttle to move it out of the garage and it even made a sound like I had seperated two pieces of steel.

Previous owner said they disabled the hicas? Not totally sure if they did or did not

I took the back out and turned the running lights on and the middle bulb does not light up.

I haven’t pulled the globes out and tried running the lights

Just got my car back from the paint shop and couple people on the road told me my brake light was out. Turns out the running lights all light up, but if I have no lights running and I tap the breaks the passenger side middle bulb doesn’t light up. Also if I have the daytime lights on, the passenger side tail light is brighter than the others. FullSizeRender.mov FullSizeRender.mov

I have the same issue in white as well. Where did you buy your car from?

And now the new refigerant temperature sensor I put in Monday is toast according to the diagnostics. Fml.

That messes with the air conditioning? I found one that I ordered two weeks ago and it still hasn’t shipped.

The outside one is completely missing. Almost like someone ripped it.

Oddly enough I’ve done this before. Doing it again just now I got different readings. First diagnostic showed two different numbers. Turned key off. Then did diagnostics again and got a different set of numbers. Attached below is the videos. IMG_0721.MOV IMG_0722.MOV

Unfortunately that means going back to the mechanic as I am the newb of the newb with electronics.

Ughhhhh I know right. Question now is how to fix it.

I got my ac recharged last week and then yesterday I changed out the evap temperature sensor that behind the glove box. Now I get ice cold air conditioning. But sometimes while driving it’ll switch to hot air even though it says the ac is still on. And then go back to cold. Also, the fan would go from full blast to very minimal and then back to full blast again. attached is a video with it working properly after I put the new sensor In. IMG_0713.MP4

I had this done on my r32 but it still blows hot air if the vents are off completely and I’m driving 100+kph

Today I was on the dyno with new maf and injectors installed and right at the 280hp mark the clutch started slipping. I’m pretty sure it’s the oem clutch in my car. My question is, what’s a strong clutch with oem feel to it forbmy rb20 transmission? I found a stage one from spec found here. https://www.enjukuracing.com/products/spec-stage-1-clutch-for-rb20-rb25.html also does anyone know the name of the hose that comes off the upper manifold to the idle air control valve? It has a bend in it. When we were taking off the throttle body today the end of the hose cracked and fell apart so I’m also looking for a replacement one of those too.
