Bump for new pics These are pics i took yesterday. I am confident that there is 50% left. if you consider that a new set of RE55 tyres is $1100, this is still a bargain with the wheels! -
hey steve, i like that you can see each LED. i tested them on 12V and it is about 3x brighter than stock parkers. will take a pic tomorrow and post it up... cheers

The 2860R has a separator cast into the exhaust housing between the wastegate and the main turbine exit - which a std GTR turbo does not... and I'm guessing that the GT-SS is the same? I could be wrong... The trust front pipes have this separator as part of the dumps - so because you have two wastegate separator plates, you need to grind off one, and it's easier to do the dump pipe than die grind the exhaust housing

Here's the tag for a 707160-5 the '2860R' note it says '2560R' make of it what you will

so Ash are you going to have to mod your dump pipes, as I assume that the GT-SS has the same split cast exhaust housing as a 2860R?

yep they're the same ones. what i can do is post a pic of brand new ones on my R34 wheels showing the original thread depth and you can make a judge of how much meat is left. i honestly can't say exactly how much is left (they're at the panel shop) - i would say at worst maybe 50%? there's not all that much tread depth on a brand spanker... edit -pic of new tyre for comparison -
