  1. can you upload some bigger pics, hard to see the damage from them :
  2. S15 is Ray from Evolution R
  3. I love a bit of creative thinking nice work. should get the mods to move this to the DIY section
  4. just spoke to Jim Reark - car not ready so not running. current entries @ 55 or so... should be a good day to get a heap of laps in.
  5. do you want a set? I have some 40% worn coming off my GTR32...?
  6. black housing won't make a difference to the headlight performance... look at the std new Holdens with projectors - they have black housings. anyway, update pics: New LED setup Attaching old bracket to new projector: First I tacked on the bracket with "JB Weld" - a 'metal' epoxy See I had to cut the section of the old bracket between the two screw holes so that I can access the screw that holds the cut-off shield in place on the new projector bowl: Then I adjusted it to level (by eye, didn't have a spirit level, so will be pissed if it's fixable not within std height / tilt adjustment of the headlight) and let it set After that I went around and secured the whole bracket with JB Weld. I'm told this stuff is tough as so I won't have any issues. I've used it before on other stuff and given the amount I put on, there is NO WAY the old projector bracket and the new projector bowl are ever going to part company - they're joined forever... Tonight and over the next few days I'll prepare the chrome cover to be sprayed matte black, and attach the new parkers into the cover cheers
  7. so do they come with these brackets: you'll need a set of these to mount
  8. isn't Ford the same as Toyota hub diameter? and Nissan is different I believe...
  9. Justin - the second pic you've got there - the white rod shaped fitting is the parker globe. It sits inside the low beam similar to other cars where the parker just lights up inside the low beam reflector, not a separate reflector
  10. Got some more work done this weekend. Changed the LED setup and have temp bonded the original bracket to the new HID housing. Pics later this week
  11. Thanks alex... will try and get you an R34GTR VIN...
  12. PS I need the part number for the "R32 GTR V-Spec / R33 / 34 GTR with Brembos" master cylinder now you do some research!
  13. farking lazy bastards... quote the bloodnut also known as roy: R32 GTST Master Cylinder diam (mm) - 25.4 Front Caliper Piston(diam x qty) - 40.4 ×4 Front rotors (diam x thk) - 280×30 Rear Caliper Piston(diam x qty) - 38.18×2 Rear Rotors (diam x thk) - 297×18 R33 GTST Master Cylinder diam (mm) - 23.8 Front Caliper Piston(diam x qty) - 40.4 ×4 Front rotors (diam x thk) - 296×30 Rear Caliper Piston(diam x qty) - 38.18×2 Rear Rotors (diam x thk) - 297×18 Now the interesting bit... R32 GTR (Non V-Spec,) Master Cylinder diam (mm) - 25.4 Front Caliper Piston(diam x qty) - 40.4 ×4 Front rotors (diam x thk) - 296×32 Rear Caliper Piston(diam x qty) - 38.18×2 Rear Rotors (diam x thk) - 297×18 R32 GTR V-Spec / R33 / 34 GTR with Brembos Master Cylinder diam (mm) - 26.9 Front Caliper Piston(diam x qty) - (44+38)×2 ... leading pistons smaller then trailing Front rotors (diam x thk) - 324×30 Rear Caliper Piston(diam x qty) - 40×2 Rear Rotors (diam x thk) - 300×22 So there isnt much difference between the Brembos and the std Nissan R32/33 GTST calipers and R32 GTR calipers.
  14. roy posted on here somewhere the master cyl sizes across the skyline range... will have a looky
  15. look like radial mount calipers for the front. will have to get an L shaped bracket made up (similar to the brackets in the AP kit below) Add a 2 piece rotor (because the offset of the stock ford rotor will probably not fit on the GTSt) + custom hat... it's not the cheapest upgrade. something like the big rotor upgrades on UAS might be more economical... depends what you're after. by what i can see on the DBA website, the stock Ford rotor is offset is similar to Nissan, but you can't be sure until you try it. The beauty of custom brackets is that you can space the caliper 'offset' as you like to fit the rotors...
  16. and being very slow at it! i hate work being busy
  17. Can you please post the pics? also, can you detail what you meant by putting in the 40W 16ohm dummy load on the solenoid connector? thanks in advance
