Mild steel rather than stainless, heavier = deeper sound not as resonant for high frequencies (ie high frequencies are absorbed rather than 'bounced' off the exhaust like a thin stainess or Ti system)
I am 99% sure they will fit fine. The stock 245.40.18's fit with plenty of space, so should be A-OK with the 265's
I will be running 265.35.18 RE55s' on my 18's when I can pay them off too

According to "Speed" Ben is "gleeful... [that the engine has been in the car for two-and-a-half years - over 20,000km - now]"
sounds in line with the accusation that he wears women's underpants...
need headlights with grille mounting tabs, or else there is a part (i believe) that is bolted onto the headlight that will hold the grille in place.
I *think* this is how the N1 grilles are held on, whereas my grille is clipped into tabs that are moulded to the headlights
no worries kane - the powers that be have moved it anyway
Love the stock body kit look - lowered, nice wheels and you've got the recipe for a nice streeter.
None of my cars have ever had any aftermarket kits except for my 33 that had a 'stealth' rear wing
Now that I think about it, the Trust dump / front extension pipes I have may be only a little heavier.
Consider that the original cast dumps are quite heavy, then the front pipes are relatively lighter
The Trust extension I have is all stainless of the same thickness - so must be as thick as required at the dump end all the way along - whereas I would imagine that the MX front pipes would be thinner as it is further from the exhaust housing and thus subjected to (slightly) lesser heat.
Did that make any sense?
