  1. The Count is a good bloke - you won't get a cleaner original R34 than the one you just bought off him. I can't believe it took so long to sell!! Incredible! Look after it, and enjoy. It'll bring a smile to your face every time you look at it, and drive it!
  2. I would think that any bearing place could source the correct size spherical bearing for you?
  3. nick, you're right - castor is going to be the issue with the wider and slightly taller tyre. i am running a fair bit of castor (tyre is clearly pulled forward in the guard) and with the 245 semis I was touching the inner guards easily. with the 275s if you've wound on the castor, you'll have inner guard issues - that is unless you don't have inner guards!
  4. too baggy i reckon. i run a 255/35 on my 32GTR rims - road tyre, not semi. they're a better fit IMHO against the standard 245 road tyre on a GTR34 rim. replaced 245/40 RE55s.
  5. that's super clean! my mate lives down the road from Skaifey and I think he still has the GTR (well he did until recently, and his wife used to drive it around...). It is silver.
  6. lol
  7. looks great mat, who painted it? cheers
  8. i think we should all drive with the side mirrors folded in also.
  9. Hi Snowy hate you! bye.
  10. how many V8 supercars do you see with fully sick stretched rear tyres onto 11ty billion inch width rear rims? how many rally cars do you see with stretched tyres? how many F1 cars do you see with stretched tyres? If it was any performance benefit these boys would be all over it before you'd even heard of it. if we're talking about performance, then the right size spec tyre (near vertical sidewalls, if a little leant over toward to tread) will perform the best. you don't see lambos, fezzas, porkers coming from factory with a 225 on a 10 inch rim, for a reason.
  11. pretty sure there is a thread of this nature in the members area.
  12. an update - the LED parkers that I had in both sides have carked it. if you do an LED change, I suggest an in line voltage reg as I think that's what killed them... may have to do a mark 2 version after all!!
  13. where was the wallet? ALWAYS take all items out of a car - even a jacket.
  14. love the pic they included of the wheels, with all the RAYS boxes in the background!
  15. hey mate, on a 32GTR you don't want to go lower than ~350mm front and rear or the drive shaft angles end up crap. this measurement is taken from the centre of the wheel to the outer guard (i.e. vertically directly up from the centre of each wheel, to the guard)
  16. fark i didn't even think of that. geez you're a funny guy nark!
  17. yep at the train station there! should have said hi!
  18. Do you get the shelby cobra model with the "GD ELLA" plates? They'd be good for someone named Gerhard Dillon Ella driving a Shelby Cobra model car with a big GTR sticker on the front guards...
  19. good to see the car is running well, bill!
  20. i'm in for 2010...

  23. i've got a serck core in hte passenger side vent, with a filter relocation to the front x-member. it's got braided lines and earls fittings - not one drop of oil leaked so far. the japanese cores are good, and the kits fit well, but you can build your own kit from quality parts and it will be a few hundred bucks less.
