    Ni, remember my GTSt had the trust ay 109dB... the GTR is running the same exhaust now, and this is definitely louder - and it has a 'silencer' of sorts... I reckon you'd pip the 115dB mark, just by hearing it at track day (that's about 4 times as loud as mine)

    well BUGGER. Thanks Duncan The top and bottom radiator hoses are coming off, as are all the belts... so i assume that if we remove the fan then it should be heaps easier to get to the starter motor? I don't even know where it is exactly second question then - so can anyone with FAST try and figure out for me if a R32GTR starter is the same as any other skyline starter? That would be super sweet

    I have a squealing starter motor on my R32GTR. What would it cost to reco it, and is it hard to get out? (as everything else on an R32 GTR appears to be an engine-out job - eg oil filter sucks to get to) And, is a R32GTR and R32GTSt starter motor the same, or any other for that matter - eg R33GTR, 33GTSt etc or, how much is a second hand one worth? - if you have one let me know Cheers

    I busted the bolts that hold the centre bracket in the threads... and haven't got any easy-outs yet so can't bolt anything back there :Oops:
