  1. Passenger side fender... it's a VERY tight fit with the factory bar - and crap airflow. Justinfox - mine reached about 130 at sandown after 4 hot laps have you cut out air flow-through holes in the plastic guard in the wheel well? remember that the oil cooler will only cool if air actually passes through it... there must be a better way... oh and will take piccy tonight
  2. bah, black GTRs are a dime a dozen... nice ride!! the cup holders I've seen are clip on, and we've had no issues getting them off my mate's cars  unless the japan spec cop holders are clamped on or glued?
  3. Running RB74s in the GTR, still managed to give them a fair rodgering at Sandown. Glazed them I think... Have previously run Endless NA-Ys in the GTSt at Sandown, pedal was still ok at the end. Now have a set of Endless CC-Rs 'carbon ceramic metals' to go in... probably be noisy as hell... will report back
  4. as long as it is not pearl black! good luck with it - and I still think you should go black - they look tough too many gun metals around /awaits flamage/
  5. Duncan, with you that means removal of keys from Duncan forever
  6. Lucien, R32GTR manual, abridged version: 1. Pedal on right makey car go wheeee! 2. Pedal on middle makey car stoppy! 3. Pedal on left use to stop car go crunchy crunchy yuk! 4. Use stick in middle of seats and (3) changy gearu! 5. Big wheel in front driver to direct car holdy! now get out there
  7. Informer, i was under the impression that black is a bastard to spray, as the surface prep has to be PERFECT so as not to show up any undulations? My 32R is metallic black, and looks awesome when clean... but getting the front end resprayed was somewhat of an ordeal
  8. if you want to run them that low, get a pair of tender springs (the little helper springs that keep the spring captive...) king springs make em
  9. So not happy. Have looked high and low for the transfer case cooler under my Aus Delivered R32, and cannot find it. One would think that it would stand out like a sore thumb on the drivers' side rear right? I've even got the nissan diagram that shows what it looks like, and where it is… and it is so not there. So, why would someone remove it, and sell it? Can I get a replacement? What are they worth? Are they of any use anyway? So not happy, Jan
  10. I'd better start saving then...
  11. Hey 2GU UP 2, hows that lip going?
  12. what are those first ones, justin? (single pic)
  13. Roy chooses his oil filters on looks?
  14. So who in Aust sells these Amsoil filters?
  15. Skating dog video!! Skating dog!
  16. I know what you mean, and no, mine is not visible from the passenger side... but this is infinitely better than the no-front plate I was running for a few weeks there! Mine is also tilted down at the same angle as the bottom half of the front bar... so is not really that 'visible' per-se... It's just the reflection of the fold line from the bumper that you can see... the plate is the same height as the top of the vent so you can't see the vent My oil cooler is wedged in the passenger side vent... hence plate on the driver's side... though factory front bars on 32s are NOT GOOD for big oil coolers and air flow through!! Rezz
  17. Hey Rezz... finally got to making a bracket up for my plate - no self tapper screws, glue, or gaffa tape required! Used a factory hole in the front bumper that gives access to the reo... don't know why there are holes there under the side vents, but meh... what do you think?
  18. on second thought, I could be wrong about the guards
  19. yes, but rust is a RWC item... also, the rear guards are pumped, though they are not GTR guards- GTR guards bulge out from directly behind the doors... you might find yours are blended fibreglass? Tap them and see if they are metallic or a dull sound like glass nice ride though
  20. yeah, really want a genuine one... trying to swap this thing off the R34:
  21. Why do you want to lower it? Handling? Looks? Drift? Circuit work? How much to you want to lower it? If you just want to lower it for a bit better handling, to make it look a little better and lower it up to 2inches lower, then go with a set of king springs with the std shockers (provided the std shockers are in good nick). If you want to go 'full-sik' and dorrrifto, then a set of coilovers will suit, same goes for a circuit car. BUT bear in mind that coilovers are much less compliant than the stock setup with lowered springs.
  22. They look awesome. Lucien, I thought GTR offset was closer to +12 or +15, with a +35 for GTSts? eg. if you bolt on a R34GTR wheel to a GTSt they stick out too far? Also, what are they costing you to send from Japan? Cheers
