  1. Find out the spring rates and check with a suspension place if a lighter spring can work with the damping setup... if so I'm guessing a set of four king springs should be around the $800 mark?
  2. Roy - found out mine are 650lbs :uhh: I've found solid blocks of aluminium that have more compliance than my car!
  3. How about 732G black pearl metallic? Go the Aus delivered specific colours I have had an Aus R32 since May. GTRs are money pits. If you can't afford the insurance, you can't afford the car. Consider this as well - don't think that you will be 'happy' with the status quo - the mod bug will bite, and bite hard... I have put over $5K into the car, and that includes maintenance and wear and tear items
  4. If yours doesn't have fogs - they weren't optioned. The factory optioned fogs have a 'shorter' orange section (notice the orange section of yours takes up like 2/3 of the entire width) to allow for the fog section. Might be able to find them second hand... I don't know if you can mod them - but I think it will be hard as there is not much chance there are reflectors that point the right way inside the clear section. What you can do is possibly tap the back of the reflector and put in a small socket and globe and turn them into parkers... don't know why you'd want to though
  5. I'm sure a loud-as red FC would not be conspicuous... no plates = silly boy...
  6. what are the spring rates?
  7. Hah! thread revival!! I too am looking for a genuine R34 GTR rear wing... Group buy?
  8. don't know the answer to that, but the R34 is airbag... I think the R32 GTR wheel is sweet I would imagine that if the aftermarket wheel hubs for aftermarket steering wheels eg momo are all R34, R33, R32 compatible, then the R34 wheel should fit.
  9. Can't do it mate... standard working on the car this weekend... changing brake pads / lines... Have an AWESOME time, and take it easy - looks like it probably will rain there on the w/end too PS hows that Sandown vid footage going?

  12. Yep - my rears are non captive in the coilovers and clang around... have to get some tender springs for them
  13. Where's the honk? Clean huh? washed it yesterday Was i motoring? REDFC - they're the ones I have... i can get some pics tonight if you want
  14. Vale Douglas Briese. I did not know him, but his navigator is a client of mine. I rode in the GT3 not 2 weeks ago.
  15. They've easily got enough for a track day... was going to use them for Sandown a few weeks ago. No worries anyway
  16. Another reason they are angled - a lowered car will scrape the muffler of a straight-out tipped exhaust because the 'departure angle' is too shallow... If you angle them up they give better ground clearance and the tip is less likely to be destroyed

  18. I have four 225/50/16s for sale They're Dunlop RSVs... not much tread left though (guessing 30%) can post pics tonight
  19. Again, I'm so having your rims, Justin I love R34 GTR rims, but for the money they still go for, a new set of Jap rims seems like a better option... Anyone know what a set of R34s go for in Japan second hand?
