  9. Two young men were killed in an apparent street drag racing accident in St Kilda overnight. The accident occurred about 1.05am when a Nissan Skyline hit a power pole while travelling west along Dandenong Road. An 18-year-old back-seat passenger in the Skyline died at the scene while another back-seat passenger in his late teens was taken to The Alfred Hospital but has since died. Their names have not yet been released. The Skyline was travelling side-by-side with a silver Honda at the time of the accident. The driver of the Honda stopped at the scene to assist police with their inquires. Sergeant Ron Perrett of the Major Collision Investigation Unit said the cause of the accident was still to be confirmed but said the stretch of Dandenong Road where it occurred passes through a cutting under St Kilda Junction and "certainly has a history of cars using this section of road for racing". "We're trying to sort out the reasons why they were travelling together but we'd be appealing for any witnesses who may have seen either of these vehicles travelling along Dandenong Road or in the Windsor area about one o'clock this morning," Sergeant Perrett told Melbourne radio. Ambulance spokesman Matt Dowling said another occupant of the Skyline had been taken to The Alfred with a suspected broken collarbone but was in a stable condition. It is not known whether the driver was injured in the accident. The inbound lanes of Dandenong Road were blocked after the accident but reopened for traffic shortly after 7am. The death took Victoria's road toll to 271, 19 more than at the same time last year. Police urge anybody with information about the accident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
  10. The black face ones? Don't know if you can get them in 52mm...? The black face are hot though
  11. Looks like Jamezilla just made a backing plate for 3 x 52mm gauges... looks SWEET though
  12. Badgeless is probably a defect now!
  13. 1. Don't drive like a tool = less chance of defect 2. Don't have a super-dooper-mega-whistle-hearitbeforeyouseethecar BOV = less chance of defect 3. Keep your car at a reasonable height = less chance of defect 4. Don't be a rice cooker with neons and stickers = less chance of defect I have had a 33 with pretty major underbonnet works, loud as, but have not had that defected. I now have a 32 with damn loud exhaust, but all else looks stock... (so far) no trouble. As with anywhere, if you cause trouble with your car, expect to be bent over. Welcome to Melb!! PS I am going to Perth this arvo on business! Better be some good weather
  14. By memory the neoprene it is pretty expensive... like 40 bucks a metre or something? But if it is good enough for the rally cars...
  15. Get some of that neoprene ducting from 'Revolution Racegear' - it is black and flexible Are you in Vic or Sydney...?? b/c your plates are vic plates? If you're in vic can also try Meridian Motorsport for the neoprene ducting - it is very tough and will no melt
