  4. Some of you may or may not know I have had some misfire problems. My 32GTR would miss badly on load. After a few weeks I sourced some new coils, and this solved most of the problems. Until this time I had been running new OWS iridium plugs. I tried (and have fixed) the very minor missing problem with changing back to coppers, but when I removed the OWS plugs (only 1000 kays), the electrode and tip were clean, but the plug seat (where it screws into the head) was wet on #2 and #3. The rest were dry. Is this a problem? I noticed the plugs were not completely tight - would this cause it? Or driving around with dodgy coils fouling the plugs, then when new coils went in the tips and electrodes cleaned up - i.e. wetness left over from misfiring? Any ideas? Thanks
  5. I have a tripod but is not very good... can bring it... I have a mate who will take stills all day (she used to be a photographer for 'The Age'), and another couple of mates who will take stills... and a guy taking video

  11. Yeah, I will be going for some bigger rims, probably in an 18... but in time. Just thought I'd try and be lazy for the time being and squeeze them under the stockers No real point getting them and having them sit in the garage for a year, so will probably just source some when I get some bigger rims Thanks guys PS my mate sourced some for me... don't know where from sorry

  15. what's going on with that 32 with all the airbrushing on it... and some chick on the bonnet?!?! excellent illustration of the fact that money cannot, and did not, buy style. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/at...achmentid=22642
  16. Mark, I just wanted to say that I am very impressed at how calm you seem to be about the whole situation. Very mature! Good luck again - with your level headedness with dealing with the situation, I'm sure before you know it your baby will be back
  17. bah, so many GTSts have GTR badges on them anyway... why not some more? Imitation is, after all, flattery
  18. Thanks Steve(s)!! Steve-SST - will I need bigger rims then? and does anyone know if I will need to change master cylinder etc? Will give Steve (!) Newing a call this week
  19. Very true - there are many *very* wealthy people who buy new porsches and take them to the track, but can and will afford to maintain their cars to near show quality
  20. I can get a set of Porsche GT3 callipers from a 996, what do I need to do to fit them to my 32GTR? Questions include: 1. can I use them with the 16's? 2. can I adapt them to the existing discs? 3. will I need a adapter bracket, and where can I get them? 4. anything else? I need some help because it seems that alot of skyline guys have done a porsche calliper conversion on their cars Cheers in advance

    Exhaust!!

haha, the reply for the stock exhaust was posted before the edit to say he wanted a louder exhaust
  22. Sorry perhaps I should rephrase... compared to a 'proper' road tyre, these will be more trecherous in the wet on the road. And particularly for Denham's beast, probably a waste of tyre for the road, unless he has buckets of money to throw at tyres I have Dunlop RSV98s... they suck in the wet. But I have a feeling that they suck generally... we'll see at Sandown haha
  23. Yeah my car is black so I assumed that the engine bay would be colour coded to the body... you must be right - must be a dark colour 32 thing. Anyone with a red or white one who can substantiate? And as for concourse cars... my car had won Nissan Datsun concourse club awards... but it's still coming to Sandown in October :D
  24. That sucks, hope the damage is not too bad... got a pic of it?
  25. Denham, if you need to know how many kays they will last on road, the answer is that you shouldn't be using them on the road! They will try and kill you in the wet on the road anyway in your beast!
