Ronin 09 replied to mrsr32's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
looks like you're fishing for some confirmatory bias to say - "yes, it's a great idea" from a bunch of random people on the internet. so, "yes, do it. Nothing can possibly go wrong." -

hey guys, have just had my car resprayed and ordered what i thought was the bonnet emblem from the Nissan Australia release PDF... Part number is 62892-62C00 "Bonnet Badge - Nissan" The part that has arrived has two pins in the back of it... am I right in assuming that I just snap off the two plastic pins? Or has anyone else an alternate part number? cheers -

Hey fellas just trying to put in a new centre vent in my 32... but it doesn't want to push in from the front even with a bit of force Sinista, what do you mean that they are screwed in from the back? I can't see any screws in the new vent? or is there a bracket that screws into the dash from the back that holds in the vent? Can i get it in from the front without removing the dash? is there some sort of technique that'll help? I read somewhere else on the forums someone said "look inside them and you will see tabs which you put a flat screwdriver into and lever down. Its a lot eaiser than taking the dash out." any help appreciated. cheers

So of course it's really difficult to diagnose a drivetrain noise, but it's a noise that I've found in a few cars (old ones at that!) and someone might be able to diagnose. When in a higher gear (e.g. 4th) and pulling low RPM (e.g. 2,000), there is a vibration that sounds like a lowish frequency clacking noise - when low rpm and loaded up. I'm not sure what it could be - there gearbox is brand spanker (under 10,000kms), nismo super coppermix (under 10,000kms), the tailshaft was rebalanced when the gearbox went in. I would assume that the tailshaft bearing was inspected at the same time. Thoughts?

Question On Durability Of Rota Wheels
Ronin 09 replied to B-rice's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
must have clocked something proper, as it's totally out of round/centre as well... that would have vibrated like a mofo after the damage (if it ran at all, and didn't foul bodywork) -
