  1. I don't think so... they look like a special mexican hop-up item... 'Elcheapo' square plastic stick on reflectors. PLEASE remove from your car! Hot car though
  2. Is that for a GTR or GTS-t? If it was a GTR you are handy see this thread - may help you guys doing GTRs http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=43354
  3. Yes I lied... I am just lazy and rounded up hahaha yes, it is a damn cannon! :headspin:
  4. Do you have the plastic surround that goes around the centre console and shifter?
  5. Get the Trust ones from Nengun - I got mine from there for about $1000 landed. One thing to bear in mind - they're a pain to fit - factor on $500 to fit if you get a shop to do it. It is a turbo / manifold off job... unless you're very handy with a spanner.
  6. This is mine... The fact that it basically has no mufflers means it is damn loud http://www.trust-power.com/01exhaust/tr_powevo2.html
  7. hmm was just reading a thread RE surging... can someone define 'surging' I wonder if what I describe as 'missing' is surging? What I think of as 'missing' is when I floor it, the engine loses power, and just stutters but will still rev... HELP!
  8. Yes, Trust 4" exhausts are not loud at all... /looks out at GTR with 105db/
  9. That pic is just a photochop... and not a very good one at that! (not that I can do any better)
  10. Okay, done about 250 kays since the panel shop, still using the iridiums. We pulled out the plugs on Saturday, and all of them are perfect, no fouling. The only time it misfires is when on boost, it idles fine, will happily rev out on partial throttle, however whenever under load it misses. My feeling now is that it could be a number of things: 1. dodgy coil. Better plugs, maybe demand more from the coils, and hence only misfire under boost. 2. dodgy igniter? My guess however is that this would cause the car to misfire continually. 3. dirty AFMs. Would this cause misfire under load? 4. spark being blown out by boost. Iridium tips are very small, would the spark be too small and get blown out by boost?? I would have thought not, seeing that these plugs are only specified for GTRs and supercharged mercs I may have to go back to coppers and try that
  11. Hey thanks Akeenan... I don't have any idea about Japan - does Tokyo have more than 1 international airport? I was looking at a map of the region, and it showed Kawasaki between Tokyo and Yokohama (being south?), with the airport between Kawasaki and Tokyo? Is it where all the 'rough' kids go? A friend of my g/f mentioned that, but I don't know if they are joking I'm 90% sure of coming in December, so will have to meet up with you
  12. I'm going to try and get down there, but only a 20% chance... for some reason I thought it was Sunday, from the Maserati club calendar of events Planned for sunday and was free too
  13. Thanks Amaru, but it doesn't miss at idle. It doesn't do it continually either, seems to be an intermittent problem. May pull out the plugs again on Sat and see if they are clean or fouling. Any other suggestions?
  14. Bah I could do 1:20's in an excel.
  15. Another problem has surfaced with the 32GTR now. A few days ago it wouldn’t start having sat for about 5 weeks and driven very rarely. As it turned out the plugs were fouled, and so were replaced. They were copper Bosch plugs, and were replaced with Iridium plugs (before anyone says they’re a waste of money, they cost 60 bucks). The car has developed a misfire. It does it more or less across the rev range, when half to wide open throttle. The new plugs are pre-gapped at 0.8mm. Modifications to the car are very minimal – turbo back exhaust with split dumps, removal of ‘boost restrictor’. Running Mobil 8000, Motul 300V. Why is the car missing??? Boost cut? AFMs maxed out? I don’t get it! It is getting frustrating. Thanks for any suggestions
  16. My girlfriend is going to teach conversational English with Nova in a few weeks and has been placed in Kawasaki. I've been looking over the web about this city and have so far found pretty much nothing, apart from that it has a port. Can anyone please tell me a bit about it - the area looks pretty industrial. How far from Tokyo? (I can't tell from the map) How far from the airport? Nice city?? I'll be visiting in December over christmas / new year, so would love to catch some of you Japan guys Thanks
  17. Thanks Jon sometimes the most obvious answer is the one! Only thing is the car was started in the morning
  18. I would love a listen to it when you're done looks great
  19. Thanks guys, I suspected the plugs initially, next up is the coils...
  20. OK, my 32R has been at the panel shop for 3 weeks. They are very slow - it is only minor work. It has moved all of maybe 80m in the 3 weeks, and started fine this morning, but was running rough (apparently). It would not start tonight, and hence is still at the panel shop. Only mod is turbo back exhaust. Plugs replaced and gapped at .8mm about 2 months ago. It cranks, but will not fire. Is it the plugs, or coils? Anything else? We are trying a new set of plugs tomorrow... could the car only moving around a shop for 3 weeks foul the plugs?! Thanks in advance edit - it is getting fuel, as we can hear the pump and smell unburnt fuel being spat out... and it has sat at a mechanic for two weeks prior to going to the panel shop
  21. Scotsman, thanks for that info. Will measure up and check when I get my car back later this week from panel shop. Am definitely interested. Will let you know ASAP cheers.
  22. Interested in a 25 Row, remote filter, push lock, fitted for R32 GTR?
  23. sorry mist, I wan't very clear - yours should be ok for the road, I meant that the 12 / 9 kg/mm are too stiff for the road
  24. I'm not sure about the average spring rates for coilovers for 33s, but the rates that mist have for 32 are pretty indicative quite firm springs. I've seen anything up to and over 12kg/mm front and 9kg/mm rear for 32s. These are too stiff for the road (in melb anyway).
  25. I have modified my rear window to take 3 rear wipers, truck-bling style sorry.
