    Sorry to hijack, meshmesh, but I asked this a while ago and no one responded. Do you have to use a different oil in the transfer case, because I intended to use Redline Lighweight Shockproof (Blue) in: *Gearbox *Front Diff *Rear Diff *Transfer case in my 32GTR... or should I use heavyweight shockproof in the rear diff?

    Yeah I thought so thanks GTR032 I like the idea of having no wing So I guess the question is now, how much for a 32 bootlid, and does anyone want to sell me one without holes in it?

    If you are picky about your car, buy one landed in Aus. You may save a couple of $K, but ask yourself if the unknown is worth it. I don't need to tell you this, but you know that it is always better to sight the car.

    Pretty straightforward question really... are 32 GTR and 32GTST/GTS4 bootlids the same? Or is the GTR boot aluminium? And, if they are the same, what is a bootlid worth? Second (well third, really) question; can i get the lock on the new bootlid keyed the same as my existing keys? Cheers

    Shouldn't the ends of the pipes be lipped to prevent blowing off of the intake pipes? Would an exhaust shop be able to do this?

    Thanks mate but I think we are going to claim under her insurance. Would you believe she pushed my car (which was in the garage) back about 2 feet into some shelving, pushed the front end in about 2 inches and not a scratch on the E46 BMW 3 series?!!?!!?
