  1. Hey Sumo, I don't know what that means! how much is it, and is it hard? please tell me more thanks
  2. E30s are definitely 4s. they're a 2.0 or a 2.2 inline 4, the evolution is maybe bigger, 2.5? I am 100% sure they are not a six. only the 320i, 323i and 325i were sixes. The M3 motor shared nothing with the 318i motor; the E30 M3 motor is designated "S14" - it is basically the M5 motor of the E28 with two cylinders lopped off.
  3. FORCE, I have seen a WRX with that exact setup (if the car is in melb, then it was probably that one with the big K&N). I noticed that the pipe from the compressor to the cooler (or to the front of the car) appeared to be made of either mild steel, or something painted. It was corroded and / or flaking. I asked the shop that installed the kit, and they said that it comes like that in the kit. Why only make all the visible pipes a nice shiny colour? I certainly wouldn't be happy with all the visible pipes made from quality materials, only to find inferior product where the piping is hidden. You may have changed the kit since, and replaced that tubing with stainless / aluminium, but if this is what the kits are like I think forum goers have the right to complete disclosure. Please don't take this the wrong way, I have seen your products and they are generally of good quality. I would in this case like to be proven wrong.
  4. yeah, I know... my old car (before my GTSt) was a 323i - rebuilt as a 2.9L spent Sh!tloads on it... still miss my baby
  5. Hey Shan, thanks for that, will definitely keep in mind when the time is right
  6. dammit not yet, just got my R32 GTR, so have to pay that off first... but in time, oh YEAH
  7. E34 for the anoraks out there. Inasnt - buy an E30 M3... $40K... that's going to be the next one in my garage to begin the Group A collection http://www.bmwworld.com/pics/3er/e30/m3/e30_09.jpg
  8. Punctuation and line breaks are all good...
  9. what mods, Squizz? or $150 bucks of race fuel :looney:
  10. That's just a Schnitzer version (i guess)... I'm sure that they were available in RHD? Maybe all that I've seen have been converted...
  11. I used to have a E30 BMW, and sold it to buy a R33 GTSt. I changed to an R32 GTR, but at some point want to also get an E30 M3... http://www.bmwworld.com/pics/3er/e30/m3/e30_09.jpg Much like a GTR, this car had fat guards, different race-bred engine, and was a weapon in race tune, racing against R32 GTRs in Bathurst and Group A in Australia in the early 90s. Does anyone know what the deal is with bringing in a car from the UK, in terms of compliance etc (if required)? I know that they can be brought here, as I've seen one on the roads before. Thanks
  12. hope you're bringing the original rims in too...
  13. not sure if that is me... possibly - i live east and work in the city As for the turbos, 99.99% sure is stock ceramic wheels... maybe the gauge is out. can anyone confirm what the restrictor looks like, or has a pic of it?
  14. hey Drift-King, is that bump the restrictor, or is it smaller than that?
  15. Ooh crap - they are stockers - at least thats what I thought. I bought it (apparently) stock, only change is I've bolted up a cat back. I'm sure the restrictor is not there - I'll go take a pic in a sec... OK i can't feel any brass thingy in the vac line around the yellow line, but the buldge between the clamp band and the yellow line - is this where the restrictor is? Cheers
  16. I'm talking about the brass restrictor in a vac line on the driver's side of the car - it is highlighted by a yellow line around the vac line... anyone want to tell me what is the PSI if the factory gauge is reading over +7 ?? dangerous or not?
  17. agreed... but if you are going to do more work to it, it may be more likely go bang (particularly the gearbox...) but that said I don't know how strong R32 GTst driveline is...
  18. I think R32 rubbers must be prone to tearing in the top corner of the window at the B-pillar. One of the guys on the forum has a set, and his driver's side is torn there too The passenger side is leaking in the middle of the top of the window - weird. Thanks guys, benjiman74 you are probably right, will have to go for new ones ex-Japan dammit
  19. hmm just tried them, don't have any
  20. Dammit, my doors are leaking from the seal between the window and body (the rubber seal at the tops of the doors). Nissan spare parts quoted like 230 bucks per side (just the rubber seal!) which is ridiculous. I need to find a wrecker or second hand parts… does anyone have any, or know any wreckers in Melb? Its an R32GTR Thanks!
  21. Hey need L & R rubber door seals (the bit that the window seals against) for a R32 GTR... prefer Melb, so I can check them out. Must be top condition! Thanks
  22. "blower valves" that allowed unburnt gases to escape without being recycled into the engine... WTF does that have to do with the price of fish in China??!? I believe that, at last check, I exhale unburnt gases that are not recycled when I breathe out... admitedly if i was to go to the pits, my emissions would probably fail ahahahaha
