  6. Hi Guys, I am looking to sell my Skyline, to change to a GTR. It is a 1995 Series 1.5 Silver R33 GTS-t (manual), bought as first owner in Australia in December 2002. When purchased, the car had 49,000 on the clock. The timing belt was done then, as was a complete service. The car was purchased completely stock (inclusive of M-spec kit and series 2 wing) and modifications have since included: *K&N Pod filter with Cold Air Box and feed from front bar; *ARE bar and plate FMIC, custom stainless steel piping; *HKS SSQV BOV hidden behind front bar; *Infinity Q45 throttle body *Greddy front facing intake plenum *Trust Adjustable Exhaust Cam Wheel *Trust Profec B spec II electronic Boost Controller *Full exhaust – Stainless split dump, Trust 3” front pipe and Catco high flow cat, Trust V-banded 4” cat back Power Extreme; *Exedy high capacity Organic Clutch; *Trust oil pressure gauge and boost gauge on A-pillar; *R33 GTR dash cluster (purchased showing 50,000 kays, now done 70,000); *Pivot Turbo Timer; *DBA Slotted rotors, Endless pads (set of RB74s included) *Stealth wing (original included); *18 x 8 with 235/45 front, 18 x 9 with 265/40 rear Buddy Club P1 Racing II’s and Michelin Pilot Sports (5 months old); *JVC Chameleon deck; *Trust shifter. The car has always run Motul 3000V oil or Mobil 1, and has run Redline diff and gearbox oil. The engine oil has always been changed at 4000 – 5000 kays, and the car is meticulously maintained. This is one of the neatest R33 GTSt you will see. Asking $24,500
  7. ...stealthy, that.
  8. off your topic, jaff, but how can you run 5psi when the factory wastegate spring doesn't open until about 7psi with a full exhaust? Wouldn't the turbosmart then be, instead of bleeding pressure to fool the wastegate spring to get a higher boost, adding pressure (which is not possible) to open the wastegate earlier??
  9. Thanks tony, I ended up ordering from US - came in cheaper than buying here anyway
  10. Real funny Ash hahah thanks :usuck: jk Thanks, I'll PM. Black33 thanks I'll give them a call... I'm going to call my wheel shop today and see who they use
  11. I scratched one of my Buddy Club P1 IIs... stupid, stupid, stupid. Thankfully it is only the outer polished rim. I'd like to get the rim re-polished, so it is purrdy again :headspin: Who knows of where this can be re-polished, and at what cost? Preferably drop off on saturday - I'm full time and don't get a chance during the week. I live in the inner east, so anywhere round there would be good. Thanks lads (and ladies)
  12. clear indicators and oil cap... thank you! (comic book man voice from simpsons)
  13. Godfather - I'm guessing the stalling is for two reasons - 1. runs rich because AFM will read higher than actual air into engine when BOV vents; 2. stock BOV leaks on boost (see thread titled "BOV mod" or something similar...) causing excessively rich. I have a rice-boy-spec vent to atmosphere - It idles OK, stalls about once a week - After market management will fix that. lbfalcon - don't know what you are talking about mate... you will not shatter your turbo because there is no airflow back to the turbo. I think you have confused having no BOV, the air feeding back to the turbo through the compressor will have long term damaging effects on the blades and bearings.
  14. no not at all.
  15. Ferni - no test - just fill it in Everyone who was SAU on Sunday - Sorry I didn't come say hi and introduce myself - all the excitement was too much for me!! Also all your mega cars are a bit daunting...
  16. mine was bolt on too... none of this liquid nails crap... sorry. I am tired :|
  17. I finished Mech Eng / Comm in '02... I failed that much engineering, but got honours hahaha Ahh the uni days...
  18. Ferni - yes CAMS licence req'd - basic one you just pay for L2S i think
  19. Sorry Snowman, should have been more specific My best time was 1:37s - not bad for stock suspension and a crap driver!! My first time out on the track was like 1:5's hahaha What did other GTSts run?
  20. The one in the carpark is my mate's - Steve from the Maserati Club... Should have wandered over and said hi to you guys, but was too excited about the track action... Here I am, blurry, but here!
  21. You should NOT be cutting the actual chassis rail. The cut-out is just sheet metal, you should never cut a chunk out of the chassis rails!!
  22. Oh, and I saw Golgo there too... parked behind the pits... nice. Oh yeah, and saw a R34 GTR with Ice Performance stickies above the windscreen
  23. I saw a couple of R33s, and an R34 with Ps, particularly a red 33 gtst that had skylines austtralia stickers on it - looked suspiciously like skylinegeoff's avatar I was the silver 33 gtst with the stealth wing
