  1. I will be there to whore fatline. Sam - having issues with the Profec B Spec II - probably pop in sat morning
  2. i will answer the question with another question - if everyone hates the R33, why it it the most populated of the 3 R32, R33 and R34?
  3. Boost, you really should roll the front, because the time you will rub (possibly catch and pop your guard out) is not when you are going straight, but when you are turning and the suspension compresses. The tyre may catch the metal guard and pull it out - happened on my old car. If you are going to get the back done, get the front done at the same time
  4. Best way to measure is from the centre of the wheel (the hub) to the wheel arch
  5. not sure if this helps, but here is a pic of how close they sit. I can take some more of it tomorrow from side on if you want me to. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/at...tachmentid=9444
  6. Boost, offset is the most critical factor when lowering. A difference of 3mm offset may make the difference between rubbing and not. I am running 18x8 +35 with 235/40/18 and 18x9 + 35 with 265/35/18. The rears are very close to the outer guard (nothing rolling won't fix), but due to stock ride height, they don't rub. The fronts are absolutely fine, could be dropped a fair amount. Be aware though, that a 18x9 +35 might sit differently to a 17x9 +35. Not sure if that is really helping, but my guess would be if you are running 255s on a 17 with the correct offset it should be OK.
  7. Shift carbon bonnets rock... dammit the list is growing...
  8. Jet, you will be fine - i have every faith in your strength to recovery, and the expertise of those caring for you. Time to build Jet-34
  9. I am 99% sure that all GTR wheels are forgies... Hell, even the 350Z track-pack 18's options are forgies, made by Volk, i think
  10. i reckon the S1 dash looks better anyway! good luck with the sale!
  11. Nothing wrong with that dash, but RiGo is right, that is a S1 dash. S2 dashes, instead of having just one big indented bit above and to the left and right of the speedo and tacho respectively, have little oval indents for each of the warning lights, such as hand brake etc etc. Hope that helps, trident.
  12. here's a better pic http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/at...tachmentid=9439
  13. and some more...
  14. Hey guys just wanted to whore up some final pics. Everything that went on was: *ARE Bar and Plate FMIC *Custom piping made by BMT *HKS SSQV *Infinity Q45 90mm throttle *Greddy Intake Manifold *Trust Adjustable Exhaust Cam Wheel *Greddy Profec B Spec II Elec. Boost Controller We are maxing out the air flow meter, and as a result am getting cut at 13psi. It has picked up a big increase in midrange, and full boost is happening at 3000rpm. On BMT dyno it made a (very rich running) 155rwkW. I'll post up the dyno when i scan it in. The wheels are Buddy Club P1 Racing IIs, with Michelin Pilot Sports in 235/40/18 and 265/35/18s
  15. I want to replace the top and bottom radiator hoses, because there is a slight leak somewhere... Does anyone have a Repco part number for them for a R33 GTS-t?
  16. Just got a set of Michelin Pilot sports on the car today; 235/40/18 265/35/18 still scrubbing them in, but they seem excellent under braking. they squeal a bit, but i think that is just the silicon coat of the new tyre wearing off
  17. I'll get a better one of it in the morning in the sunshine http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/at...tachmentid=9295

  20. yo paul, thats me how is ro going, still got the 323? as you can see i haven't
  21. Inasnt - BMT painted it. Remember that the BMT dyno reads quite low...
  22. Rob: thanks mate, yeah, i tried uploading today and it worked Sentric Dancer: stock Mspec body for now, apart from low drift wing (see pic earlier). The only front bar i really like is the Trust GTR bar - same as Merli's. I think it will be hard to source, so maybe in time i will think about it.
  23. sure is... here's some new piccys
  24. Sentric Dancer: stock body, apart from drift wing Inasnt: Like the look of the Greddy, cleans up the piping too NEWS FLASH: My car spat out 155rwkW on the BMT dyno...
