  5. Funkey, I don't think so... though i was thinking of stealing the Garrett GT30 (or whatever it was) on the red 33 next to mine... Benny also told me about your photo whoring... good thing i got the pics up before you did! Not running any management at the moment, will have to wait for injectors and fuel pump. Will probably go down the Power FC route. Then goes on the turbo muhahahaha
  6. thanks mate, you like? i do

  11. i heard about all you SAU guys down at BMT yesterday taking pics of the car... sam and benny tell me that apparently the word is out on the mods...
  12. Type R! My mechanic is a honda mechanic, and has a slightly worked (very mild) DC2. With very little work they can be quite fast - remember that they weigh bugger all, so any HP increase will result in a greater increase in accel. But it all depends on what you want. The Type R is frenetic - it always wants to be ragged and revved hard. A turbo car is a much different proposition - it makes great low down torque, and is a lot lazier and easier to drive around town. Don't forget it is not all about speed - honestly tell me how hard it is to go fast on the streets these days (especially melbourne) without losing your license / getting booked. Again with a few small tweaks, the Type R handles like a demon. That said Motor PCOTY was won by the astra wasn't it...? Or it came second or something - i forget. Hope that adds to your indecision
  13. picked up my wheels today, but still can't upload the pics... i'll send them to Dr_Drift and see if Sam will host them
  14. Ah Inasnt, not everyone can afford a fat turbo...

  18. Hey guys, my car is sleeping at BMT at the moment, waiting for a substantial list of stuff to go on. If any of you are in there in the next week or so, say hi to it, its the silver 33 with a drift wing. The main thead is below, but i've had trouble uploading pics. I will update that thread as I go... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=28349
  19. Seeing that we lost the server (which sucks, I had nothing to distract me at work!), I thought i'd post this again. This is stage 1 of project fatline, lowering the rear profile by fitting a boot lid wing. The car is now sleeping at BMT, awaiting the installation of many goodies... will keep this post updated.
  20. it is normal. the fuel mixtures run rich when you snap the throttle closed and air is vented atmospherically. Therefore backfire
