  1. don't map sensors have trouble with idle and part throttle settings? something to do with not as fine resolution? and not that it would be an issue here, but MAP sensors are less fuel efficient (for the same reason)?
  2. its simpler than that... falcons run CHEAPER than commos! ask any taxi driver
  3. TUFR33, i have a standard Series 1 R33 GTS-t cluster with 59500 on the clock (not wound back). If you want to buy it its for sale.
  4. As the title states, full R33 GTSt STOCK exhaust. dump, front, CAT, centre with resonator, rear box. $250 or offers
  5. Time to update the avatar
  6. the back wheels 'hopping' - finding and breaking traction in quick succession, makes the back of the car feel like it is stuttering.

  18. Aha, i see... but why would there be little difference between awkW and rwkW for a GTR?
  19. Get one for me too! they are sweet. If you want some club ones next time (when we have more time) let me know and we'll look after you - i own a small fashion label www.iostyle.com.au (haha, but we don't have anything on our site yet)
  20. I think it is a straight swap. Do a search i remember someone doing this already (or considering it) and reading about it
  21. Yep, keep both wastegates. If you block one off, that turbo will overboost well before equalizer pipe has done its bit
  22. If you're around box hill tomorrow i can take some and post em for you - my car got EPA'd and i'll be down at Daalder exhaust in Box hill from about 10 for an hour or so (prob more)... see my post here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=19529
  23. I agree with the posts above. I started with a cat back 4" system and then got a front pipe and split dump. I didn't notice a massive HP gain, but it will come on boost quicker, and increase top end. As for doing the dump/front first - if you're looking for most HP gain, then the cat back will be better value for money to start with; then do the dump/front pipe. That said, the closer the restriction to the turbo, the greater the effect on flow efficiency; for example, if i put a silencer in my rear muffler (reducing the effective diameter to say 2"), it will have less of a flow distubance and thus effect than having a 2" dump pipe and 4" cat back. So, in conclusion, do the cat back first, then worry about the dump/front if you are strapped for the mulla. Bang for buck.
  24. Was wondering when you'd get one in, Sydneykid
  25. So skylineakt, when are we going to see the PICS OF YOUR WHEELS??? White rocks. Just a bit more to keep clean, but hey, worth it
