  1. Thanks JimX, will give it a go now... looked pretty tight back there, it was enough of a bitch to change the high beam globes! -m
  2. Sumo, the right headlight on mine is higher than the left one!
  3. Anyone know how to adjust the headlight throw of a R33 GTS-T? One headlight is massively lower than the other one... i'm guessing it is some sort of adjusting screw or something, but i can't find it. -m
  4. As pretty obvious from above, I've misplaced the fuse box cover in the engine bay of my R33 GTS-T; the plastic cover that covers where the + and - terminals are in the engine bay... anyone got one or knows of a wrecker?? -m
  5. Actually guys my cousin has a S15 that it fits and have bargained it down to a case of Stella.
  6. Correct me if i'm wrong, but everyone who is chasing this flutter noise is going to do damage to their turbo from chopping the returned air in the long run... doesn't make an entire lot of sense just to sound cool... And, with the plumb back factory BOV the car will run better anyway. The price you pay for fashion? Just my 2 cents.
  7. Yeah, one of my mates' brother is a cop undercover, seedy looking fella he is
  8. Type M has foglamps? Only the series II i think, coz my series 1 has none... -m
  9. These guys were clearly not undercover, three dudes, one hell fat bastard... just having a bit of fun i think but like everyone has been saying, it is more car jacking that we should be concerned about... best thing is probably to drive straight to the nearest cop shop and park out the front... what can they do then?? Invite them in for coffee and cakes?
  10. I was on my way home from work tonight when i noticed that i was being followed... Literally, i was minding my own business. I then proceeded to try and lose them in my neighbourhood, which went on for about ten minutes, after which i was successful in losing my rather annoying w*nkers. It was a Maroon TE Magna (never got the plates as they never got close enough), and it was Canterbury Rd pretty much from Camberwell to Box Hill. My car is 3 weeks old, stock, so it doesn't really grab attention (apart from being a Skyline i guess). This concerns me a bit, as it just makes you feel like you can't enjoy your ride. Without having a lynch mob attitude, maybe we should keep an eye out for w*nkers like this? -m
  11. ylwgtr, did they actually cut it from a Nismo key blank? My problem is that the Nismo blank is longer than the key that i have for my GTS-T by about 0.5 cm
  12. I thought that the first number in the rating of the viscosity when cold and the second number is the viscosity when warmed up? This is to ensure that there is good flow when starting up or when the external temp is cold, and thicker to aid heat transfer when warmed up? Or the other way around?? I could be thoroughly confused... i think i've gone cross-eyed...
  13. JAGR33, I'm going to try and find a place that can 'computer cut' it; ONARUN said that he had it done and it worked on his series 1 GTS-T... I'll do the ring around tomorrow, and if i can't find anyone who can do it i'll get back to you, OK? -m
  14. JAGR33, Am in Inner East... Not sure if it will fit GTR, if the blade of your key is about 4cms long should be OK... like i said best to check it out first or else you'll be left with a useless piece of metal too!
  15. Thanks uLa32, i've found a unopened 5-40w Mobil 1 in the garage (score!) and i'll probably change it with that for this time Cheers -m
  16. Sorry to hijack the thread, but how many litres will i need to do an oil change on a R33 GTS-t?
  17. I agree with Steve. The exhaust should show significant HP gains, whereas the pod will basically: 1. make the induction noise louder 2. increase the responsiveness of the throttle 3. increase HP marginally -m
  18. As above i have a NISMO key blank for sale RN008. It apparently fits a whole host of Nissans, including R33 GTS-Ts, but the blade is too long for my series 1 GTS-T. If anyone in melb is interested, it is probably best to check it out first to make sure it fits your car. It cost 100 bucks, but will take 50 bucks as to me it is just a useless piece of metal now . -marcus
  19. Very interested in boost gauge. Same questions as 2rismo; is it backlit... PM me
  20. I would have to agree with Steve; if the quality of the Aussie product is comparable, you can get a new exhaust for the same money. I've waiting for a Trust full system, which may seem like it is against what i've just written, but on my last car i had a 'name' brand rear silencer (Supersprint) and the full system up to there made by a local shop. Depends what you want; the supersprint silencer had a specific note that i liked, but i figured than an exhaust shop can't really do anything too wrong with the centre pipes and resonators if they know what they are doing. And they did and excellent job. Might be an option to consider.
  21. Thanks exstatic, sounds good, but i just can't get onto them... Did they have them in stock? Are you happy with the clutch? -m
  22. Hey guys, I'm new to this but am definetly interested in coming on down... So i figured that it is on the 10th at 9pm for 9:30 leave, but where are we going exactly? I just hope i don't have to work that night
  23. Leewah, Tried calling both the numbers you listed, but got the answering machine... I am in servere need of a clutch, do you have the Daikin Exedy Organic clutches in stock? When can you put one in and how long will it take / cost? PM me... -marcus
  24. DJP, did you actually bite the bullet and buy another car? Still at Doncaster BM?? I sold the white E30 and got a GST-T, still have the plates on it, will have to show you some time. -marcus
  25. I had an old beemer 3 series with a supersprint back box and only resonators along its length, it was pretty loud i suspect around 95dB... i had angry enough locals then i hate to see what they'll do with the Trust installed!!
