rs73, i had a feeling that it would be LOUD, but the guy at the shop told me that the baffle should eliminate much of the drone. Let me know what yours is like when you get it on the car, i might be able to get it exchanged. It probably doesn't help that the one on order has a 4" pipe.... cheers

Oh dear. The EPA and the elderly are certainly going to be unhappy. Is it unbearably loud? why did you take it off your car? You had a cat back didn't you? I've ordered a turbo back, with cat replacement pipe (yeah yeah i know i shouldn't :uh-huh: ).... this will surely only be louder? -marcus

Thanks guys, haven't heard any spooky noises or anything, so i assume it is the sender. Sometimes tries to stall at idle, but i think the idle is set too low (450-500 RPM)... I've just got my car fresh from importing, and have not had a chance to change all the fluids yet. Problem is i'm pretty useless mechanically, and all the shops are closed till at least the 6th. I'll report back when i get the fluids changed / a service and get them to look at the pressure sender. Any recommendations of shops to get my car serviced in Melbourne? Using Evolution R, but they seem pretty $$! -marcus

Akeenan, i know this is kinda off the subject, but have a R33 GTS-T and just ordered a Trust Power Extreme II turbo back with a 3.7" pipe... it comes with a baffle that sits in the back box, but now i'm worried that it will be EXTREMELY loud... i live in a high residential area with lots of old folk who may become scared... is that what you had? Any baffle? :eek:

Dark, yeah, thats the one i', talking about - but i'm talking about the rear wing... boot lids of GTR and GTS-T are the same and that one looks like it bolts more or less straight on in the factory position... Cheers

I've got an R33 GTS-T, I've potentially got an oil pressure problem... the gauge sits low at idle (at about 1), but when up in it sits at about 4. Does anyone know if: 1. nissan oil pressure gauges are dodgy 2. nissan oil pressure sensors are dodgy 3. GTS-Ts have dodgy oil pumps. From the way it drives it seems to be fine. If it is the oil pump what on average is the cost of part/repair? Thanks.

If they don't have a melbourne based shop does anyone know of a good clutch shop in melb?? Thanks Edit: OK, so i checked out some threads, and it seems that a Daikin Exedy Organic is the way to go, and ICE can do them in melbourne. A couple of questions: 1. where is ICE? 2. are there different clutch ratings for the Exedy? I've heard that they can be fully installed for around 800 bucks, but have seen some that the clutch kit alone costs double that. Please help

I've got a slipping factory clutch; any ideas for a new clutch with increased capacity but not too expensive (i.e local) and not on/off like a brass button?

Can anyone tell me: I am looking at 18" wheels for my R33 GTS-T, rolled guards. 1.Will a 9" rim fit, and what is the widest tyre that will fit without fouling? 2. What offset would i need? Appreciate the help
