on std capacity it's not that 'laggy'... mine make around 5-10kw less than standard turbos up to around 3500rpm then much more above that. Theyre .64 and -7s. Makes around 340 at the rears.

i want to try some endless or project mu pads in my CP5555s. they're some of the best stuff to come out of japan in terms of brakes - give it a go!!

they do fark all - i't's not triangulated so about hte only thing they do is (maybe) give you some extra side impact protection. that's it. the "final" in chassis stiffening would be seam welding and a weld in roll cage...

assuming that the 3" cat flows worse than a 3" pipe, people may use a 4" cat to get that bit of flow back i.e. while 3" pipe > 3" cat 4" cat > 3" cat so possibly 4" cat ~ 3" pipe... or something... lol

because you get bigger wheels, you don't have to 'upgrade' the brakes... they'll look small if that's what you mean. I reckon the stock GTT stuff should be OK. If you're after standard size replacement rotors, it's hard to go past the project mu stuff... You might be able to get a caliper offset kit from Biot...

well if you have too much rear grip vs front grip, the car will have a tendency for understeer... similarly if too much front grip vs rear grip, the car will oversteer. of course this is a generalisation, as the suspension set up makes a huge difference to the car behaviour.

I reckon they'll be too wide, as in with such wide rears and comparatively narrow fronts, the balance of the car will be ordinary. I would stick to a max of 265 and try and go for 235 on the front. It is possible to 'over tyre' a car, and I reckon for such a light car a 285 rear would be overkill I'm sure someone with more of a technical answer can help

WTF is wrong with people? Last night we going down Alexandra pde entering the eastern freeway. Some fcuktard in a bravo ute (or something like that) was carrying 1. a side table 2. a red MX5 hard top Would you believe the hard top was leaning up against the table (unsecured), with the bit that fastens to the top of the windscreen poking up above the cab. Basically the back of the roof section was in the tray, front of the roof sticking up. Low and behold, as he accelerated, and the wind increased, the roof became a sail, and flew back off the ute... we were behind. Luckily we were far enough behind to see the whole fibreglass roof fly off, and skid along the freeway. I swerved into the adjacent lane, knowing there wasn't anyone there, then HE SWERVED INTO THE SAME LANE AND PUT BRAKES ON!! WTF??? MORON! He then decided it was a good idea to stop in the middle of the eastern freeway... as I headed away from the carnage, I saw another car behind collect the roof...
