  1. My viscous engine fan won't turn off, so is it shagged? can anyone help and advise what the part number is for a '91 GTR? thanks
  2. i have just swapped an ORC twin for a Nismo Super Coppermix twin. The Nismo has a std slave cylinder, and is as light as the standard clutch. It doesn't rattle when engaged or disengaged, and barely shudders on pick up. Progressive, feels great, and virtually un-stallable. The perfect street ~600ps clutch - can be used every day, all day. SWEET and much easier than the ORC!
  3. i'll take them for the M3 project... next year
  4. Thanks dave - that's what I though re where to tap it. I had a look at the service manual last night - just wasn't sure how to bleed it up. Cheers
  5. i loved that car
  6. Where on a 32GTR do I pull the lines to the cooler, and the return line? Also, when you plumb up a cooler, do you need to bleed the Power Steer, or is it a self bleeding system? diagrams for a dumb ass are useful too
  7. they are hawt - i had them on my 33... you should still be banned though for taking so long
  8. i've seen one like that before... looks like a stocker outlet at the back too - single 3.5" outlet. lol at that funny round rear muffler on your car
  9. yep - they don't make a 90mm tube/fin as standard fitment. just give them a buzz and have a chat! on This Page they have a Type E28 610x300x73 core that will do 400kw conservatively...
  10. just be aware that a semi is generally slightly wider than a road tyre - by approx 10-20mm a RE55 245 that I'm running is about the same as a 265 road tyre, i think because of the squarer blocks and stiffer sidewalls
  11. It's likely the shocks will not be able to cope with the huge spring rates. also, there is virtually no way the shock can "adjust" the springing - it only adjusts the damping. to adjust the springs, you will have to change the springs. WAY OTT for the road. try someting more like 6 and 4 for a GTR for road use
  12. i'm confused mate, if you haven't been reported to the EPA then don't worry until you do. if it isn't too loud (doesn't sound like it is) then you probably shouldn't be reported to the EPA. cheers
  13. how big a number do you want? give me 5 mins in paint and you can have as many kW, or MW, you want!
  14. i guess so... fine /takes toys and goes home/
  15. not much, from what i can see. will check tomorrow
  16. yeah but you'd be aware of the increased lag if you had 2530s... and ALOT more power than standard.
  17. i have a 90mm ARE custom job, and the reo and part of the front bar was cut. spoke to ARE and they recommended this tube and fin, will happily keep temps down at track to around 450rwkw. it's a bit overkill but if the motor pops and I build an engine, I won't have to upgrade the cooler again.
  18. true, but if they're std turbos, there's no way at 15psi it will make 300awkw. if they're larger (say 2530s) on std capacity, even at 15psi it will not make 300awkw - plus you should be able to tell that it's non standard. so what I'm saying is i reckon it's a happy dyno
  19. i'm with the automotive services group at work and we do a lot of industry work with the aussie manufacturers. they don't give me a industry pass, instead i get a media pass. go figure.
  20. lol 300awkw at 15psi
  21. hey mate those rotors look farked - looks like lots of radial cracks eminating from the cross drilling... I wouldn't be using them in that condition.
  22. went on a media pass on Thurs morning... the nice thing with a media pass is that you can sit in all the cars lol not as good as previous years i reckon
  23. a good 75mm cooler will see you at 400rwkw happily
  24. what'd they do to the gearbox? what'd it cost? PM me if you want to instead
  25. mate you have to stop making threads in the wrong sections lol
