  1. nope, gearbox is the same
  2. look more closely at the JJR seats - yours are different. the side bolsters on the seat base are Recaro shape - too triangular to be the Sparco style. the back rest bolsters on yours are more Sparco shape though... I don't think they're JJR seats.... whatever they are they look NICE.
  3. not really the area you're looking at, but Ralph and Zac at TruTrack - North Melb
  4. nah he's a CAD monkey. Engineering monkeys cost too much...
  5. yeah djr81 i know what you mean - didn't mean that you weren't getting it - more that I can't explain it... I would reckon the rotor sizes for the Biot gear would be pretty standard though (they probably have other manufacturers toll make them anyway)
  6. yep i'm with you there, but what i'm saying is that once you stick on the new rotor, you don't need to worry about the old rotor centreline - only need worry about the replacement rotor annulus (at a zero offset) for geometric fit... ie the face that bolts onto the hat is flat, and as long as the bolt centres are right, and the thickness is right, then the rotor centre should be in line with the bracking work... hmm do i make any sense??
  7. from the rotors I've seen they tend not to have any offset from where they bolt on the hat though? you're more guided by the thickness of the rotor?
  8. better the wheel than the sump or gearbox or other assorted under-car fun stuff though...
  9. sorry to see pete. it's all part of the great Australian tradition of getting a trailer or ute 2 sizes too small, then proceeding to load it up to 200% capacity, drive along a freeway or highway, and therefore not need to visit the tip to drop off the waste - it's all on the freeway and you simply have to just drive home.
  10. oops - brain faster than keyboard skills LSDs is what i was getting at
  11. whoever sent me a PM last week about the lights and the paint I used... can you PM me the questions again I accidentally deleted the PM... sorry!
  12. djr81, go for the Biot kit - you will not be dissapointed. the quality of the hats is second to none (my rears have a steel insert drum for the handbrake, anodized hat, and a black treated rotor) that looks like a work of art. How the treatment is done, I don't know, but will get some pics of it after a few kays...
  13. heaps of the japanese relocators are vertical mount. plus the filter is inclined when just on the block anyway...
  14. mmm biot dimensionlessness....
  15. if mini spools are so good, why do all race cars run diffs? agree with redevil - welded diffs are for commonwhores and foulcans.
  16. biot is shit hot but v expensive... the rear offset kit installed is more than the whole front end k-sport kit!!
  17. hey west, just a guess, but maybe the ABS module on other cars is directly behind the brake booster on those cars? have a look where the module is...

    Epa Fun

yeah, what needs doing? will it still be full 3.5in? mine is quiet but still a little loud (it's probably more or less exactly like yours, except for differences in the under body shape
  19. old man woohoooooo happy birthday!
  20. hate to ask a stupid qn, blitz, but of the pic, the brace with the open ends is the front one, correct? because my current one is that shape and hits the bonnet - hence why I wanted another one. have you ever had these ones on the car? I just don't want to get another one and have the same problem cheers mate
  21. blitz, want to split the braces? I want the front...
  22. great - 12 pistons. imagine rebuilding the seals on those little suckers!! fark that
  23. "KLR32" has a rolling R32GTR
  24. I've got a coppermix twin coming... hope to have it in the car in a few weeks will report back
