  1. interesting opinions on oils, but why do the track GTRs run Castrol Edge 10/60?
  2. sorry, I should have been more clear - I'm sure yours is nice he's looking for one with possibly a built motor and 250+ kw at the wheels I should have sold him my old one
  3. 340rwkW stock airbox... R32GTR, nismo filter element missing resonnator and duct to section below headlight...
  4. i'm still trying to figure out if it's a photochop!
  5. ha geez you're a nice guy... don't jack from the sills!!! they've just been fixed up
  6. spin me some, dave
  7. my cousin has been looking for a 33 that isn't shit, with some mods. problem is that you have to filter through a shed load of poo and still it's hard to find a well modified, unmolested 33...
  8. FYI those rear upper arms pictured are for R33 and R34. The R32 ones are a donut shape
  9. here ya go - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=164913
  10. 324mm front rotor need a 17" + rim to fit... there's an issue with the bolt size being different too - Beer Baron has a thread on it somewhere in here
  11. another option is the Race Radiators ones. I have one and many cars in vic run them without any problems. Only slightly dearer than the JJ ones.
  12. well would you count a Nismo one as 'aftermarket' - they are probably made in the same place as the OEM ones so would behave similarly one would think
  13. what seals do you blow??
  14. I have a nismo 62 in my GTR and it warms up to 70 fine before 5 mins. Also have a 40mm Race Radiators alloy rad. Have not booted it, but it holds temps at 72ish quite nicely. Also, for completeness, I have a Serck oil cooler without a thermo and after 5-10 mins both water and oil temps dont budge from 70ish. These are defi gauges so should be pretty accurate.
  15. lovely
  16. GTR is an alloy carrier, GTSt is steel as far as i know...
  17. dyno numbers mean fark all.... it's nice to say 'my car makes 350000kw' but remember dyno numbers are only a tool to see the relative gains and to make sure the tune is right. i would rather have my car make 100kw then after mods make 150kw, that way I have a 50% increase in power. As long as it drives well and feels fast before and after, doesn't matter if the number says 100 or 500... get it to the track (circuit or drag) and see what times it will do!! and have fun when you get it back PS Al - spill it mate... what's the go on your motor??
  18. yes i'm not so sure about the stockness of sumps. would be worthwhile asking the question to someone who knows... eg benno
  19. hey mate as far as i know the standard lip is the same as N1...
  20. whoever does some... make sure you do them for a GTR hub lol
  21. they reckon he's fled the state already...
  22. get em from here if they're D2S type www.hidplanet.com they will post to Aus!
  23. welcome if you're a p plater and in vic, sell it and buy a 32
  24. yep i reckon that should be fine. just make sure you don't get any grit into the hydraulic internals, or into the bore of the piston (what you've referred to as the sleeves) good luck! cheers
