they get my vote for catching someone who is really being a dick. TMU one, dick zero. contrasts to the Big Boys Toys at Chaddy where the score is more like TMU lots, car enthusiasts zero even when i got defected a few years ago, i'd just been to the track and the officer was nice and interested in the car. Granted this was the next weekend and all the passes were still on the car, but I got defected none the less but rightly so - it was too low.

E46 + engine swap to another make = stupid. E36 and earlier, because the value of the cars is lower now, I would still look at in house BMW engines over a 20 year old nissan boat anchor. Change of engines will just make it a bloody headache. Best conversion I've seen in Australia is the late E36 M3 Evo motor (3.2, basically the same as the E46 motors) into an E30 325i chassis... that was farkin quick. check out www.bavariacars.com.au for some inspiration.

MANWHORE, remember that the lens flips the image upside down; like your eyes (your brain then reverses the signal from your retina so that it looks right-way-up). So, if the cut-off shield is at the top of the assembly, the light is released at the bottom, then switched upside down by the lens and light will come out the top only. that looks like an original GTR lip made to fit... in fact I'm sure it is if it was plastic. see how it sticks out the sides a bit, and compared to a GTR where it would sit flush
