  1. ceffie, I've looked at aftermarket part numbers for 32gtst and 32gtr exhausts (eg. fujitsubo) and they are usually the same part number for both cars. I would expect it will fit fine - may have to change one of the exhaust hangers but the factory body work has the right eyelet (mine did anyway). cheers
  2. well i got this reply from the Japanese guys: "I'm sorry. You can purchase a braking system for BNR32 only with a rotor and a set of a stay."
  3. I have seen people space an AP5555 caliper in this way to get a wider rotor... in theory should be ok to do, but I haven't seen anything wider than 2mm fillets - I think RaceBrakes Melbourne have done it before. I haven't seen the inside of a 2 piece caliper, but it may have a crush male/female or cone section join for the interface between the two sides... pull one apart and let us know cheers
  4. yeh thought it was geoff... but squinted to look in and couldn't see in... haha
  5. who was driving north along punt road around 5:30.... wearing SAU stickers in a purple 33GTR with Gold TE37s???
  6. can you replace them with stainless steel scourer pad or something alike? or pillage some from RB25/20 covers?
  7. yep - awards list please
  8. how did you go with the cooler
  9. if it's a real Autech... sweeeeet... Japanese Taxi spec
  10. Adrian, Not sure that you'll be able to use the GTR size rotors on GTS25t calipers, because the rear caliper for brembo takes a 22mm thick rotor versus a 18mm thick rotor for the Sumitomo calipers... I don't think the GTSt calipers have the bridge thickness to fit the 22mm rotor... These guys do a 320mm x 20mm kit for the standard caliper that may work... but means you have to run their particular rotor. I've sent them an email regarding the brackets for the GTR33 rear rotor -> 350z rear rotor conversion... hopefully their kit doesn't change the caliper offset - otherwise it will mean you have to use their particular rotor as well. http://www.biot.co.jp/parts_brake/offset_k...etkit_rear.html will keep you poseted to their reply. cheers, marcus
  11. dave - I think it's the same bolt spacing and offset... A - don't think he's had a chance to give it a crack yet... I made the assumption that the R34GTRS2 are the same as 350z to keep it simple for them at the factory. I actually have a set of 350z rotors in the garage in anticipation for the brackets I'll have a hunt around and see if anyone makes them eg in Japan You're right - i think it would be an OK slight upgrade, also because I'll be going from std R32 rear (297mm??) to 322mm, and the car will have 355 APs on the front Will keep you posted, cheers
  12. I've been trying to do the 350z rear rotor with R33GTR rear caliper on a R32GTR... 350z rotor is 322x22 and the drum size is right... Roy is supposed to be doing some CAD brackets for it...
