  1. nice. 21K might be a bit steep though
  2. Have seen a few threads around recently... either asking the best way to put a screamer on a std internally gated turbo... and seen alot more screamer type dumps available. what's the deal? even though they sound crap, is this the new thing? will someone make some for my GTR? is this the new under-car neons / backwards stickers on the front doors?
  3. Was actually considered porsche rears - they have similar piston area to the std brembos (i.e not so different to justify a master cylinder change), and also most porsche master cylinders are around the same size as factory Nissan GTR. having said that, not sure it is really necessary- the big twins in the brembos should be OK given that we don't have alot of weight in the rear. porsches, from my understanding, work the rears alot more because of that lump of motor hanging out behind them. also i reckon a twin piston also has less to go wrong! cheers
  4. dont know if you can put angel eyes on std projectors... don't see why not. something to consider, though, is that if they are plastic tube, and placed directly in front of the projector, over time they may melt / discolour / yellow due to the heat from the globe. They do get damn hot in there. I think all GTSt and GTR came std with projectors; only the GTR N1 came with lighter square lights (better than GTS), and GTS with cheaper square non-projector lights.
  5. So they've been sent?
  6. pretty sure the GTt caliper is aluminum. the only cast iron calipers are the R32gtst 4 potters (I think). the rear GTR brembo is an upgrade to the factory Sumitomos: GTR32 (Sumitomo) Front Caliper Piston (diam x qty) - 40.4 × 4 Rear Caliper Piston(diam x qty) - 38.18 × 2 GTR33/34 (Brembo) Front Caliper Piston(diam x qty) - (44+38) × 2 Rear Caliper Piston(diam x qty) - 40 × 2 However, while the std GTR32/GTSt32/GTSt33 rear rotor is 296x18mm, the brembo is a 300x22mm for a little more heat capacity... We (Roy) and i are trying to use a 350z rear rotor (322x22) with the brembo R33GTR rear caliper and offset bracket for a bit more balance running AP CP5555s 6pots with 355x36 fronts. Hope that helps
  7. of course it's legal. you own it. no one can tell you what to do except yourself.
  8. Thanks guys for the replies I've sort of figured out the 2 buses to get to maranello.... title was a bit misleading - you have to have a fezza to actually get a tour of the factory - i don't think a GTR will cut it, unfortunately. Will still check out the museum on the way through to venice from rome! cheers
  9. are you sure that they checked the order status in Japan? and what did they quote you? ps I'm getting you a price on those DBA5000 replacement rotors
  10. what's the boot trim like? pretty interested if in vgc
  11. We're going to italy for a holiday on Saturday (yay!). If we go in to Modena, is there a bus to get to the Ferrari Factory? or do we need to get to Maranello? thanks!
  12. R32 projector style headlights can be had for between $250 and $400 per pair second hand from the forums. then just do this
  13. GTR guards are the solution. you know it RB20 boy.
  14. should fit - might have to change a couple of bracket mount points. easiest way is to look on the website of the exhaust and see if the part number is the same for GTSt and GTR. I know for my TRUST exhaust for 32 it's the same.
  15. wouldn't mind getting some better pics of the airbox?

  17. damn - you and 'Roy' would get along like a house on fire. He loves the RB20 more than life itself!
  18. 1. I just got a set of headlights from the forums... ends up cheaper than getting them from Japan 2. S2000 projectors are too wide to fit in std R32 housings. Honda Euros, if fitted the way i did it, fit pretty much damn perfect using std mounting points - just reversed the plastic screw in bits (you'll understand when you pull apart the headlight). Something like a E46 BMW Bosch projector will be fine too because that is smaller than the euro... but I don't know how to mount that in there. My folks have a E46 with HIDs and I reckon the beam on the Honda Euro is better. 3. I believe that most R32 headlights are H3C, but some are H1... but as far a I know, the projectors in both are the same, as are the cut-off shields - just the globe fittings are different. Hope that helps!
  19. i got one from nissan... don't know how much it was though (the shop got it)
  20. it is on page 2 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=125128
  21. awesome-ness-awesome. like GTR1993 - PM me if you don't have me delivery details. cheers again
  22. well thanks to Troy (ylwgtr2) for buggering around with the plug so we don't have to butcher the back of the housing. Fired them up for hte first time last night - they look awesome - but didn't have my camera... so we'll have finished pics on the car when the car gets assembled so close now...
