  2. Seeing everything that I've read about the apparent shortfall (pardon the pun) with the early R32GTR RB26 crank oil pump drives, I though I'd post a pic of the difference for people to see. Don't know if this is the right section for it (more of a FYI than anything else), but here you go: The left is the updated crank with the longer drive; the right is the older one with the short drive.   5. If you want to be pedantic, you can use Nissan OEM tail light / headlight butyl sealer It's available cheap here (though it's from USA)... search by the part # on the boxes below... the Aus dealer cost is $$

  10. almost there just need to figure out how to access the rear as the HID sits too far forward in the assembly to get the plug onto... plus there is no way the rear access is big enough diameter...

  12. non turbo GTS with puny brakes. probably hasn't been engineered (and would not be possible) without doing brakes (among a host of other things I expect). you'd be brave to have an RB26 with R33 non turbo brakes.

  15. I'll bite. So it's a custom shaped pad, built from new to fit the setup. In that case, fine and perfect. What compound is it? Can we get Ferodo compounds? how about RB74s? BUT, you have all through the thread implied that it is a MODIFIED standard shaped pad.
  16. do you have the inner guard or bottom splash guard cut with holes / mesh so that the cooler can release the hot air behind it? might be stating hte obvious but it needs air flow into it, through it and out again

Thats because, if your euro is the lux pack with xenons, they don't like being switched on and off. if you switch them on and off quickly when they've been on, there is no need to fire the globe with a high voltage to ignite them - but the ignitor doesn't know and sends a start up high voltage to it. This burns out the globes a lot quicker
