GT-R Front Torque Display on IC-7

They didnt provide a pinout or ETA for a firmware patch with this update. -
GT-R Front Torque Display on IC-7
SLVRBAKSLPZ replied to SLVRBAKSLPZ's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
From Haltech: Thank you for reaching out! "Now that we have a proper ATTESA control function, this will be added. What I have done in the past is use a generic to follow the ATTESA function output and generate a 0-100% channel in the iC-7, so you can see how much power is being sent to the front. 0 being RWD only, and 100% being as close to 50/50 as it can get." -
GT-R Front Torque Display on IC-7
SLVRBAKSLPZ replied to SLVRBAKSLPZ's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Just thinking even when finding the proper wiring, the problem then comes with the display value in the ICC software. Im not sure of the proper value to choose from. the Haltech as it doesnt have a value for Kg/m^2 (torque). I think the Haltech would have to have a display unit option for Kg/m^2 or lbs. Anyone have a Haltech connection? I'll slide them a $5 for R&D cost lol -
Since having the IC-7 display I have no reason for the triple gauge. Has anyone wired the front torque to their IC-7? If so which wires to tee off from the triple gauge loom.

Front/Rear window Install Question
SLVRBAKSLPZ replied to SLVRBAKSLPZ's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Lol Damn I thought i was doing good while i was cutting the bottom the i got about 2 inches into the side and it crack with little effort. I think when I install the new glass I will not use the plastic retainer that goes around in place first. Seems like it add a bit of difficulty to ease of replacement of the trim. I'll probably go with an aftermarket trim that sits a little wider. I really trying to eliminate breaking the glass again -
I'm in the process of prepping for paint (sanding etc) Went to remove my front window and cracked it as my zip knife was sitting on the retainer while cutting. So for the people who have install the glass, did you use the oem retainer during install? If it's not needed then I don't wanna deal with it again Also what aftermarket trim do you guys prefer?

Getting fuel level signal into the ECU

How'd you get the GPS module to read on the Plat Pro? when i talked to Haltech at the time they said I had to put a resistor in. I also dont remember how I wider the speedo module but from your description it sounds correct. I know when I was just backing in/out my garage it wasnt reading speed. i wasnt til I actually went on the road that I started reading. settings I used -

So i have a plat pro. I bought the GPS module for it only to find out it only work with e Elite as plug/play. I then bought the Dakota Digital box and it worked for me. I did not have a heavy steering issue since installing the IC7 and speedo module -
Getting fuel level signal into the ECU
SLVRBAKSLPZ replied to Murray_Calavera's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Ok, I gotcha So when I did mine, I didnt even program my IC7 display/check the fuel voltage. I just plugged the full/half/empty values in the IC7 for pin 18 fuel sender. I have a conditioner as well. I really didnt notice if it cleaned up anything honestly. Even if you display 3 or 4 past decimals on the fuel level, you'll notice those numbers are erratic as well. I have it set to just on number after the decimal now for 17.2 gal In your initial post you stated that gauge drops to 0 after 3000 RPM. Are you referring to the fuel level dropping? -

Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0
SLVRBAKSLPZ replied to Piggaz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I thinking the 9180 for some overhead in boost. I def have been tossing the 8474 and the 9180 in my head. just not sure. Looking at 850whp tops. May be a stretch with a 8474. Either way in not hard set on 850, its just a bs goal. I want it to be responsive w/o falling over too much at high RPM So i assume the 1.05 a/r is a better option then? My head is getting CNC ported, 1+ valves, dual springs, kelford 182-SE cams overall not looking to push the motor to the limit. wanna set diff boost levels with that 850 being max. street drag use. Keeping that car for life so I want something fun. Slowly building it all up Thx for the comment. I'm think the 9180 is the best option. I'll give it a look. thx -
Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0
SLVRBAKSLPZ replied to Piggaz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
In the process of building a nitto 3.2 mated to a PPG sequential. I went back/forth with my EFR turbo choice. I think I will go with the 9180 (twin scroll manifold w/ twin external gates). I feel like going with a 1.45 a/r since I'll be using a sequential. Any newer takes with this turbo on with a 3.2 stroker? -

Damn. I did not experience these issues when I wired straight to the IC7. are these changes automatically adjusting in the IC7 software? -
All, I'm looking to drive interest of quick release hood hinges for the R33. I reached out to Private Label Mfg. About it and they stated that with enough interest then they would start the development/pre-orders of the hinges. If anyone is the interested in quick release hinges contact PLM via email or any of their social media outlets. The more numbers the better I only ask for the R33 but they are willing to come out with hinges for other platforms as well.

Anyone have one of these laying around for sale?

HAltech ELite 2500 Mounting on R33 GTR
SLVRBAKSLPZ replied to SLVRBAKSLPZ's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Rt on Thx! -
All, How is everyone mounting this 2500? It doesnt fit under the kick panel. I also don't want to just stuff it in the glove box. I only see solutions for the 32's. I got a feeling I'm gonna have to make a plate and mount it somewhere at the forward most part under the glove box Pics would be nice. Thank you

Do these uprights exist now?? -
In the same boat. I wanted a SS e-brake handle/button to replace a BS NRG one looked into a place Lathewerks out of the US. I originally bought a Subi handle thinking it would be univeral, but was informed that the handle are sized specific. I did give the measurements of the R33 bare handle. Lathewerks also had e brake button on there for S-chassis I ordered that was well, but they asked does the original scree off. I told them it doesnt and I would need the slip on style similar to GKtech. I questioned myself on whether I does screw off. I did not find a diagram and anything about a button just show drift buttons. I to tried to screw it off only to mar the plastic. I could hear the spring twisting and no feeling of twisting it off threads. I dint think it screws off, but who knows. No info on it
