Hi just FYI My stalling problem was my cam position sensor (or crank angle sensor- both same thing) It didn't like a certain temp while engine was warming up, but when it got past it, it was fine. Computer was indicating it was failing on fault diagnostic so I had it replaced and so far problem has disappeared!! Cheers

Thanks for your reply. I don't thinks its battery connection though. I have very stiff suspension and the bumps would knock the poor connection around. It runs solid after 20min!! Still scratching my head. Thanks though.

Hi Got an 95 R33 GTS-T. Got some k's on it but still runs great. Just lately have had this problem with it stalling after its been running for a short while. It just cuts out. Sometimes it will start up right away, other times it wont start for a few minutes, but it starts and runs ok even in traffic and hot weather. Any ideas? A mate said he had something very similar with his Golf and it was faulty solder concetion on his ECU. Has anyone had similar problem and any suggestion on where I can start looking. Cheers

I had similar prob with my R33, Check water pump if it's not your thermo. Mine had all but 1 fin left on the impellar. cost you around $150 for a new pump.
