  1. yeah true, if you wanna take risks dont do it on public roads, do it on the drag strip or track.... thats what there there for, or go to a road in an industrial park or somewhere where there isnt people you can harm by you "taking risks". i've lost 2 mates to other peoples stupidity on the roads..... trust me, if you have to deal with it one day, and pray you dont, it isnt a good feeling, and you hope to god you dont ever see the people that killed your freinds for fear of what you might do to them, if you wanna be one of those people...... thats up to you.
  2. yeah coz that is gay rice, as far as im concerened there are two sorts of riced up cars, the wannabe imports.... e.g charades, excels, the common model lancer CE's and the ones they sell here already..... there all gay rice, coz they have shitty engines that pump out a fraction of the killowats any real import.... skylines, supras etc do. my advice, if you wanna "rice" your car do it with some taste, do what someone else said, look at the trends in japan and follow them, thats what gets attention these days in the sea of imports out there, its incredibly hard to think of something origional some other dude/chick hasnt already done to it no matter what import your driving, but at the end of the day..... its your car, if you wanna do all that stuff to it do it, who gives a f*** what anyone on here or anywhere else says.
  3. are you talking about the "EVLGTR" crash last yr??? coz that wasnt that kids GTR, it was his dads.
  4. there is when you have to park in car parks alot, especially shopping center car parks...,.. alota ppl tend to jst not care if they hit your car or somehting like that, i seriously have a vengance against them types of people.
  5. yeah but dude it'd be hard for potential thieves to track down the cars as no1 has posted up pics of there cars, and if people do the number plates are blurred out etc, so unless you actually knew the people that were on here posting it'd be hard to find what car is theres to steal it.
  6. :uh-huh: im pretty sure alot would agree, otherwise we wouldnt spend the money in the first place
  7. my bad, '94 gts-t is whats on 61,000 , still runs like new
  8. as the title says, anyone know if im gonna have to replace the barrel??? car was in an accident, at the moment its getting fixed, i think it may be the alarm thats caused it to lock the key in the barrel??? any ideas?
  9. nah, just turn the sound system up
  10. lol @ jamezilla tryna get anyone and everyone to buy the gtr. nah personalised plates are good i reckon, after i get my car back from its spray job im gonna get me some, so far ive thought of: AWYEAH MYOMEN UH-HUH 2SXXXC not sure how many of them are taken already but i'll soon find out once i get my ass down to vicroads
  11. actually i also wouldnt mind hearing answers 2 that coz im goin from melbourne-sydney at end of the yr for a week and im drivin my R33 gts-t up there. btw fuel consumption is always gonna be high, i already know that part
  12. just cars is proly the only place to get insuarnce for them if your under 25, i pretty much got laughed at by other places when i said i was 18 and wanted to comp. insure my R33 gts-t. as for the auto thing, mines auto, i prefer it as opposed to up/down shifting in traffic and stuff constantly, that part comes down to personal preference/practicality, not what everyone else tells you. and as far as im concerned the 33's are pretty reliable cars, i've never heard of major problems you get with them as opposed to some other turbo imports. also i vouch for allblitz and say if your lookin for an R33 hus' is proly the best bloke in melb. to speak to.
  13. how has this tool gotten away with ripping everyone off for so long???
  14. lol agreed, unless you put the seat so far back that people are unable to sit in the backseat
  15. exactly, if we cared we'd sell the cars and buy something we wouldnt spend as much money on.
  16. yeah i said that up there ^^^ in different wordings but.
  17. dude did you have a bad day????
  18. wow, the prices in money spent sure did go up fairly quick, we went from 2k before to like.... 30-50k, all i have to say is Nissan Skyline is two words that equals money pit
  19. thats seriously sex on wheels, and i dont even like the 32's that much lol
  20. yeah zactly it all comes down to personal preference, everyones biased towards the car they drive, so your gonna get alot of opinions that will end up confusing you, only way to determine is find one of the two YOU like and buy it. personally, R33 all the way, updated ex/interior, and jst looks alot better.
  21. lol nah i was just curious to see if alot of gtst owners and such spend alota money on there car as well, although it would suck being a GTR owner and reading this lol. haha i like the way alot of you say a figure and then add ( so far ) to the end of it lol, i should proly bring it up again in a year or two and then maybe we'd be up to the GTR figures .
  22. you'll get alot of opinions on this, personally i think there an awsome car, but the shape etc aren't for everyone. the reason alot are under 100,000kms ( this is what i've been told anyways ), is because japan has stricter emition laws etc than here, so they have to get rid of the cars they have after a certain amount of k's and get something that is newer ( rezz or someone in japan that knows the real reason care to clarify ??? ). they only really drink alot of fuel if you drive like 150km's everywhere or do alot of city driving ( stop starting at lights etc all the time ), you get roughly 400kms from a full tank ( i do anyways ). hope that helps
  23. so the GTR owners have a thread like this, so i thought i'd make up one for us ones that drive gts-t's n gt-t's ( older skyline owners R31 n such can post to ). k so i've spent roughly.... close to 30 thousand on my car, thats a fair bit of money lol, how much have the rest of you spent to date, or plan on spending in the future??? car: '94 R33 Gts-t.. where the money went..... $14,500 purchase price, $7,000 smash repair bill $1,200 Veilside kit....} $2,500 full re-spray..} in progress and theres more to come in the future...
