  1. Would look good on a black 'line methinks.
  2. Paid $440. Pics here: http://www.audio-warehouse.com/detail.asp?...?mdl=DEHP5500MP
  3. Hi guys... Just bought a new head unit yesterday - kind of spur-of-the-moment and I don't know anything about it... Pioneer HEH-P5500MP - MP3 etc... Seems good, I know nothing about car audio, so please tell me I bought something good...
  4. If you're going to do this, why not use PM or phones to give the details of where and when anything that might happen, then the cops may know it's likely to happen, but won't know when or where and can't stop it... But be very careful because they will know 'who' so you have to make sure no trace is left for them to pin it on you... They need more proof than a forum thread to convict you, but it certainly helps with the evidence trail and they'll know exactly who to start investigating... That's my 2c (and advice). Someone please PM me to let me know what happens though - I'm particularly interested in the outcome now...
  5. Thankyou Horus... I only joined this forum cos: a) I liked Skylines B) I was pissed of with the flames, tension and sh!t that was ruining DTM Power. (BTW, that's all fixed now so it's a nice place to be again - www.dtmpower.net ) So take it easy and re-read your post before you hit 'submit reply' to ensure you aren't saying something that will just inflame the situation - if you want to do that, use a PM! Cheers. Baron.
  6. Yep... thought about polarising film... The point of this is that you can leave it switched on while driving (just flick it under bridges etc.) and as long as cops aren't tailing you (and if they were you wouldn't be speeding), you'll be safe. Also, if you take your rego sticker off (temporarily) as well, you can park illegally and you can't be booked... I was unaware that they made it a 3 pt offence to have your plate obscured thoguh... Cvnts... I guess it's only if you get caught though...
  7. Good point about the first one is that when you park your car, ppl can't see your plates. Also at the flick of a switch neither can a camera... If you want to take photo's of your car, easy to switch off your plates, so lowers risk of identification and theft...
  8. In light of recent thefts of number plates, and the ever increasing risk of speeding tickets, you guys might be interested in these (if you have not already seen them)... Link: http://www.integrale.demon.co.uk/stealth/car.htm Another site claims their plates can't be flash-photographed... http://www.autoinfozone.com/camerashy.html
  9. And # 2, to brighten your day INASNT... But better be careful, you don't want SAU to be banned form your work server too... Voted #2, with 7.66/10.00 (I don't like it much either...)
  10. Hahaha... It's a good one, but don't forget to click on the picture and it'll give you a much higher resolution version... The one you rate is scaled down... They recently updated the top-10... this is the #1 (Rated 7.95) but I don't think it's that good personally...
  11. OK Then, If you haven't seen the most powerful 6 cyl engine in the world, go here: http://performanceunlimited.com/illustrati...ful-engine.html If you have seen it already, go here: http://www.ratemycameltoe.com (For INASNT's viewing pleasure )
  12. Really? I've never seen it before...
  13. Well, it's got 50,000 Horsepower at the crank and it's only 4.3m cc's... See it here: http://performanceunlimited.com/illustrati...ful-engine.html
  14. She'd like a 320 I'm sure, but if you like the 7, get her an early 90's 735 or 740 then... You can get one for under 30k... But I think trying to convince you to get a BMW is a lost cause, so I'll give up now...
  15. 320i - stock 110 kw I think... It's not too hard to get to about 140-150. If you want to go higher, supercharge or turbo-charge would be possible and give you up to 350+kw. (Alternatively do what a friend of mine has done and dump a 4.0l NA v8 into one for 220rwkw. Stock handling is fantastic, brakes are good, quality is good and you get to give Mrs INASNT a key with a BMW badge... But then I'm biased...
  16. Whiter and brighter HID look actually look nothing like real HID's. Not as bright, not as white, quite clearly different. I have them in my fog's and high-beams, and they look very yellow compared to real HID's... No compairison really...
  17. BMW 320 (early 90's)... Reliably - heaps of tuning potential, classy, small...
  18. Thanks... very helpful! They are expensive though! Lucky mine only cost me $650... Professional installation was costly though...
  19. I currently already have a retro-fitted Xenon HID kit in my car, but wanted to find out where to get another... I know a few of you guys have them in your skylines, so was wondering where you got the kits from. Are they available anywhere in Melbourne or Australia?
  20. Nope, kia mentor it is... :uhh:
  21. That green thing is hideous! :uhh: Like the S2000 though...
  22. Here's both links - the news and the current affairs bit: Tonights! --> http://home.austarnet.com.au/nicanswer/7ne...news_drags2.wmv Yesterday --> http://home.austarnet.com.au/nicanswer/7news_drags.wmv
  23. I dont' know much about it, just that a mate of mine was driving a Boston Green BMW 323i in it and was following that GTR he said it won. He also said watching the flames from the back was quite spectacular at night!
  24. No, taken from the Targa Tasmania web-site (I ripped it out of the PDF file giving the competitor profiles.
