I don't understand that you don't understand 500rpm earlier than -5's. There are 3 other drivers that have driven the car untuned and have said the same comment, what other result are you after or you being ignorant of the result?
On the same car, an 8374 with the big "1.05 rear" and the -5's, the EFR won; - low end - up high - transient response Take your precious twin turbo's that look stock. This thread isn't about looking stock. Why has it turned into a -5 vs EFR thread?
I had both -5's and an untuned efr 8374 1.05 rear on a build 3L poncams 9.15 to 1, the efr belts the -5's out of the park. What experience do you have with single efr turbo?
Ok, but that was made in the 90's. Do you know why they didn't make a newer design rear housing?
With my setup, the turbo is making noise at 2000 and at 3000 it wants to rip your face off.
I cannot see why people are still using twin setups. If garret cannot develop a rear housing for their gtx twin range, means to me that the problem is with the rear housing. It nearly cost me an engine in 6min of track time.
The setup that Piggaz is referring to is mine.
All I can say about the setup is that I should of done it earlier and not bothered with twin -5's.
IT'S FCKN AWESOME in all areas. Just do it and you won't look back.
I have a full hard pipe kit for sale for a Gtr. It is Greddy. Also has a welded bung on the plenum side pipe for a air temp sensor.
Comes with pictures silicon hoses and clamps. Works perfectly. could do with a polish.
$300
