  1. Anyone know the duration and lift of stock RB26 Cams?? If they are different in R32 - R34 form I'm specifically looking at R33 GTR Vspec cams.. Cheers Brett
  2. Paul, is it worth us bringing helmets to add to the theme??
  3. bttt. Will even throw in the stock fuel regulator if needed...
  4. Trust me Paul I'm not happy about leaving it till Friday, waaayy too many things can go wrong leaving no time to fix them.. Anyway I'll be free friday and probably thursday cause I have to get the stereo put back into my car so if you need anything done let me know.. Just tried Lloyd and he's not answering, left a message.....
  5. Paul, Tune is now put back to Friday!!!! Due to other issues with tuner... My car will be finished tomorrow night, even got the new fuel reg in too!! Remind me to tell you the deal I swung with em, it's pretty damn good if you ask me.... So fingers crossed for friday morning, I'm getting on the dyno first so should be done within 2 hours... Then clean and get ready for action.... Have you heard from Lloyd??
  6. Cool Paul, nah I don't, and mine's a little to awkward to move around!!! ha ha ha.. I'll bring the PS2 with GT3, I've got one controller extension lead, anyone else got another one??? Yeah the car is coming along, dropped off the new pump to C-red this morning. Guess what, as a 'sorry I mucked up' gesture I got a free Nismo adjustable fuel pressure regulator with the pump!!!! Gotta love that!!!. Tune will be done Thursday, will then spend most of Friday getting the car clean and ready for set up... I still haven't heard from Lloyd, have you????
  7. 'sup Dan, How's the beast going? Haven't seen it park out the front of the pub for a while now
  8. Hey fellas. What's happening??
  9. Hey Guys, finally have the fuel pump out of the car, rated at 195ltr/hr. Offers over $200 considered. I'm in Perth. Cheers Brett
  10. Lloyd told me on Friday that he was sending out an email to all competitors detailing the event including set up times etc.. I still haven't seen the email so not sure what's going on.. Brett
  11. When I get to 300km's I start looking for a BP.... I've tried the 'stay off the gas for a week' to see if it gets better but as soon as I pull up at a set of lights and someone wants to go all that goes out the window...
  12. I've been told by numerous (at least half a dozen) different tuners that a 044 pump will not straight fit into an R33 GTR. I even rang Tillbrooks over east as there was a HPI article saying they had done it. I spoke to Mark Tillbrook himself and he told me the article was incorrect and there was no way it would fit. I understand that the GTSt's are the same, but don't quote me on that.. Besides, $547 for the Nismo less say $200 for my stock pump means I have a straight drop in 600hp pump without using surge tanks etc for around $350... No issues with cops and surge tanks either...
  13. Kym, The big Bosch pumps are not a straight drop in to a 33, you have to run a surge tank and a lift pump. Add that all together and you are up around the price for the Nismo pump. Also to buy one here is around the $880 mark so all in all a good price. I also then have my stock pump to sell which brings my outlay down even further.... Paul, Fingers crossed man!!!! Worst case we can try and tune with the stockie and hope it doesn't ping...
  14. As some of you will know I have been eagerly awaiting my new Nismo Fuel pump to arrive for my R33 GTR. It did just that yesterday, but unfortunately due to a mix up it is an R32 GTR pump which is useless for me. I am having the correct one freighted over asap, but since this one is still in Perth there is a very small window of opportunity for someone else to grab this pump. Details are: Nismo 280lt/hr (4.6lt/min) rated to over 600hp brand new still in the bag not opened. Is a straight drop in, comes complete with new filter bag and everything.. Nissan Australia will warrant this Item for 12 months. I know this because I checked with them. It cost me $547 delivered and that is what you will need to pay. I am not out of pocket over this as I will be sending the Pump back to the supplier so if you want this let me know today if possible. I can be contacted on 0407 779 221 or email on Brett_Hackett@dola.wa.gov.au. This is a Perth only offer... Cheers Brett
  15. I will have a dozen blank entry forms for anyone that needs one.. Don't forget to bring your $50 entry fee as well... Also, are people doing up charts with all their mods on it to place on the cars? I am going to do one up but I'm crap at doing flashy stuff so if someone else wants to do some I for one will pay... Brett
  16. You can have my set of visors for nothing if you can show me how to get them off and they aren't covering some huge ugly scratch or anything They are useless in my opinion. We all know how bad the lines are for running water into the drivers lap when it's raining or when you clean the windshield, and I thought these would fix that.. Ha ha fat chance.... Brett
  17. This Saturday Night. Metro City. Shady Aftermath / Eminem DJ Green Lantern. Should be awesome.... Anyone else going?? Brett
  18. Dude, if you plan on keeping the R stock you might reconsider your statement about whopping WRX's on the street.. If they are slightly modded and have a decent driver you'll be in for a very close race... Remember the rexy has a lot less weight than we do and 4wd. R's are not super quick when stock, ask any owner...
  19. Hook me up with a set for PAS dude, stickers all round... Brett
  20. I'm sweet to pick them up tonight Paul, give us a call this arvo to work it out. Otherwise I can get them sunday from ya, your choice... Brett
  21. ben, I made the mistake of thinking that instead of going further with my GTS I'd get a GTR and leave it stock and be happy with it... BIG NO NO!!!!! ha ha ha Don't regret it for a second though....
  22. If I had to do my old GTS again with 5k spending money and starting with only cat back zorst and pod filter I'd go as follows: 1. Suspension @ $1,500 2. GTR FMIC fitted @ $1,000 ($700 for cooler, $300 for pipes and fitting) 3. ECU PFC with H/C and Boost @ $2,000, Wolf 3D around the same. 4. front/dump pipe to 'hiflow cat special' @ $600?? You could then run around 12psi safely and have a good handling car that makes circa 250rwhp. Problem you will have is once you bite the mod bug it bites back really bad and it will be VERY hard to stop at 5k... Let us know when you pass 10k in mods... Brett
  23. Power FC Pro's have launch control. I'm yet to play with it on my car but from the japlish translation looks to work the same was as what Jay said....
  24. Either buddy, they are both GTR's after all!!! ha ha ha 32 would be a little more 'chuckable' than a 33, but both outhandle most other cars on the road so you have a blast no matter what one you pick.. For long drives I'd pick the 33 with more room. I can punt my R into a corner 15 - 20 km/hr faster than my old GTS and it feels safer too....
  25. The 33 has brembo's whereas the 32 didn't (except for Vspecs), and I guess with newer suspension the 33 might corner better but I wouldn't put money on it. Weight wise it's only around 50 - 70kgs difference so they would still be pretty close. It's only around 1 tenth difference over a 1/4 mile anyway...
