That is the only one in WA, $68k and it is in the first HPI GTR special. Paul, I'm guessing it has around 300kw's, so it would be a good run.

There I was driving down Leach highway last night around 5:30 and amongst the traffic was this bombed rex. White with GT wing (missing but had the boot clips), blue roll cage, carbon bonnet, sounded awesome. Then along came an R33 GTR, white with gold rims, plates GTR 300kw. Both seemed ready for a bit of fun. The only problem...... I was in the soarer!!!!!!!! ha ha ha Anyone know who owns the GTR? Looked really nice and I'm guessing by the plates has had some work done to it?? Brett

Ok, Finally got the layout of the Show, and we have got a pretty good spot. It's against a wall and is 4m x 15m. Argue and say we need 2m width per car and we can fit up to 7 cars in there. Outside isn't mapped (not sure if they are going to) so we can do whatever we like if we get enough cars interested. Time for another meeting???? Brett

There are quite a few R33 Gtr's around perth, but I've been fooled a few times with GTSt's that have a GTR kit on them. Sparc, Steve from SST tells me he can get his hands on the Datalogit for tuning, does he use yours?? Brett

Troy, I have a mate who works for Coates hire, who might be able to sort us out for lighting, marquee's etc.. Don't really know anyone who rents tv's... I was speaking to a complier on monday and he told me that only Cannington Auto Wholesale has RAWS approval but only for RX7's. He is nearly through on R33 Skylines and said no one else in perth has got the ok yet for them. Also the latest HPI shows that the only perth place is Cannington AWS and only for RX7's. Maybe the others that have been mentioned have gone through in the last week or so. And there will be checks done by the feds on workshops to make sure that the cars are stock... Also I'm told that the pits have been notified about the new system and getting a non stock car registered under RAWS will be next to impossible. Still, nothing stopping the shop 'selling' you the go fast bits to put on the car once it is registered. Brett

I have spoken to Lloyd this morning and should have a map of the hall tonight which will show where we will be and the shape etc.. Was I looking into tv's???? I 'might' be able to 'borrow' a projector from work for the weekend, not sure what to do about TV's unless someone here works for a rental place.... Hey Paul, good to see this has been started. I'll put my car in the display, either inside or outside depending on what everyone else thinks.. I'll have it tuned by then with the new parts in it so it should be over the 500hp mark. I'm going to try and get the engine painted and polished before then too hopefully.. Brett

Ok boys and girls. It was my purple GTR that this guy is talking about, and yes I was running mid 13's that night. First time in the new car down the plex, stock standard and I was taking off pretty quick but I wasn't hard launching it as I was still getting used to it. I also had some issues getting it into second on most passes (syncho's maybe). But I'm not making excuses, I drive crap.. ha ha ha I was even beaten in a run with Summoner once.... I have no doubt with a better driver my car would have run a 12, and regarding silvia's if you were to launch a gtr right stock for stock it's no contest, I can vouch for that..... I don't doubt that what you said is true Pisnnisn, but as the thread stated the GTR didnt' launch so maybe he was just having fun, or maybe he gave it everything and got beat. So what, thats half the fun right. Still your attitude is not really called for, sure we are a bit one eyed, just like Silvia forums are, but calling any of us ***cking idiots is not really mature is it?

Yep guys still on for this saturday at 10am. Haven't heard about the space yet but will know before the weekend. Hey guys, I've just got a set of Sard injectors for my GTR from greenline and they didn't come with o-rings at all. Steve, you said you used the standard o-rings instead of the Sard ones as they are better?? I have bought a set of standard nissan o-rings which should fit the Sards as you guys have said. Maybe the side feed injectors come with the o-rings and the top feeds don't? Anyway fingers crossed the standard ones fit the sards... BTW who can flow test the injectors? Cheers Brett

Chris, You do have a point, but remember that whatever kms the engine has done, so has the gearbox, diffs etc... Still I would look at one that cheap and do a good rebuild if the body and everything was in good condition..

Could just have been a pretty average high km early R33 for $35k. Still that's a damn cheap price for one!!!! If it's still there next time you go past you will know why it was that cheap!!!! ha ha ha

Good R33's over here in Perth are still around the $50k mark unless you want a smash repair job. Series II's will be around the $55 - $60k mark for a good one.... Mine's a 95 and cost me $49k last year. Oh and 260 - 280kw at the fly is waaaayy over the mark for a stock GTR. Maybe 220 - 240... Though very easy to get that with minimal mods.... I've owned a GTST and the GTR and they don't compare. A GTST is a good car and is better than anything aussie, but a GTR is in another stratosphere. Apples and Oranges if you try and compare the two.... my 2c Brett
