Since we should know how much room we have early next week, what about a meeting next Saturday or Sunday? Make it around 11am? Happy to have it at my place in Cannington about 3 streets away from Cred and SST. Put your preferred day down and majority will determine it. Brett

thrat, I've got HKS 2530's and dumps, HKS FMIC, Power FC, full exhaust, twin plate clutch and have 340hp at all 4 wheels (253kw) on 1.1 bar. Haven't taken it down the 1/4 yet as new 700cc injectors and cam gears are going in very soon. I know you can get those turbos for less than $5 brand new, and I got mine second hand for less than $3.5k and they where in perfect condition. One thing I would recommend is changing the standard cooler as soon as you upgrade the turbos. Everyone tells you that they are good for 450 odd hp but I changed mine and picked up over 40hp at all 4 wheels right across the rev range at around 380hp at the fly. Getting into 11's isn't as easy as a lot of people think, apart from hp you need to think about other things like clutches, diffs, drive shafts etc. Remember an R32 is at least 9 years old now so things like that might be starting to get a bit worn. I know people who have run as much as 550hp at the fly through a stock bottom end RB26 for over 18 months without problems. Good luck with it, it costs a bit but is lots of fun. Brett

Thanks Jeff, hope you didn't think I was assuming we would have your car, just using it as an example... What's with the missing 'TT' from the end of that engine type dude!!!! ha ha ha Are you putting a C-Red display on or is GTAAH available, (maybe even big red if ya still got her??) Brett

Summoner, It's at Belmont Racecourse again. I have spoken to Lloyd and we have definately got a spot inside booked. They are going out to Belmont next week to measure it up for us and will let me know how much space we have. From that we can work out how many cars we can fit, what display we will do etc... We have to provide all power cords, extension cords etc. They need to be taped to the floor, all cars on display need to have a cover underneath them for any leaks etc. The cost is $50 per car, this includes entry in the Show n Shine, Dyno Comp and driving events. The driving events are optional and numbers are limited. Outside we can have as much space as we like, and pretty much do as we like. If we want (and can afford) to put a marque up we can. In terms of security overnight they are looking in to it and will advise. What we will do is work out what cars will go into the show and fill in all the entry forms and submit them together as a club. As was suggested maybe inside we can go the workshop theme with modded cars, and outside have a big display showing the range of Skylines we have in the club. Off the top of my head I thought of this list for outside: Jash's old skooler R30's (2 door , 4 door) R31's (2 door, 4 door) R32 GTST R32 4 door R32 GTS4 R32 GTR R33 GTST R33 4 door R33 GTS4 R33 GTR R34 GTT R34 4 door R34 GTR That's 16 I can think of, plus the cars inside would take the total to around 22ish. I think we have most models covered except for R34 GTR, anyone know someone who is willing to donate one for the show?? Wouldn't have the same impact without it I guess... I'm happy to host a meeting at my place to work things out. What we can also do is over a couple of weeks have each model turn up at a set place and we can as a group decide which is the best example to put in the show. Let me know what you guys think but we should get this underway as time will pass pretty damn quick. One other thing that will need to be decided is if the club members will all donate towards the display, or only the entrants will.. Midweek or weekends are ok for me to host a first meeting. Cheers Brett

Steve, Who told you there was lots of space left? I spoke to Lloyd who is organising it and he said there is very little space left inside, hence only being able to put around 6 cars in. If you have been told otherwise that's great and we should make a decision quickly so we can book. If we have to have a display inside and out I say we put 6 of the best modified cars inside and do the full model run outside. At both displays we can have signs telling people about the other display.

Dan, I just bought a set of Sard 700cc's from greenline and they were pretty good compared to most other jap brands. Not sure of the price on RX7 injectors but Bosch make some good ones too I'm told but you need resistors etc to get them to work properly. Are you running standard ecu with the add ons like the ITC?? For my own piece of mind I'd be upgrading to something a little more 'secure'... Car sounds like it'll rip even harder now.. Brett

Call Robert Butler on 9276 0111. This guy knows Bosch pumps inside out.. I got prices for the 044 (800hp and a bit noisy) for my car @ $375. The 040 which does 102ltr/hour is $260... The 910 does 126ltr/hour is $193.75. Just remember if you ring anyone up looking for bosch pumps you have to have 0 580 254 (***) before the pump model. EG 0 580 254 044 for the 044 obviously.. Hope this helps... Brett

The Best Personal Number Plate you have seen?
EVL R33 replied to Xeaon's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Nizmo, Your parents are the one's that drive HSV's with His and Her's plates!!!! I've seen those cars for years and loved the idea. They have matching cars, same colour and everything right?? Nice work... Always liked 4BNEVL, but ended up with EVL R33 instead.... Brett -
No worries Paul, but that wasn't made clear so hence my suggestion. If we could get a corner stall we could have the cars all lined up in a horseshoe all facing in running up the line from oldest to newest. We could have a couple of racecars either end (GTAAAH and the Wholagan perhaps).. Maybe a board in front of each model outlines the specs, years etc... Nothing overly Ricey but a display lots of people will talk about I think.. Nice big SAU banner above the lot with flyers advertising the forums and the soon to be started club.... I'm happy to start chasing PAS up while you are away Paul..

Just a thought. We could have a simple line up of all the different versions of the skyline from as far back as we can go to the R34. Jash's old skooler, R30', 31's, and a gtst, gts4 and a gtr from R32, R33 and R34. That way it shows we have a lot of different models in the club and would be a pretty neat thing I think. I'm guessing that would need about 11 cars already so not sure of available space. Just my 2c.... Brett

HKS do two with different ranges. I think one is from 0.8 - 1.0 and the other is 0.9 - 1.1 or something like that. I priced them up at about $500 for a set, just havent' got around to ordering them yet... Brett

Sparc, I'd be really keen to have a look. You coming to the cruise on the weekend?? Cheers Brett

Hi guys, Sorry to jump in here but I have a question. First off congrats to Prank, very nice numbers... But that is the source of my question. My GTR has 2530's, dumps, full exhaust, power fc, hks intercooler and is making 320hp at all 4 on 1.15bar on a dyno dynamics dyno. If Christian is getting 280 on standard turbos shouldn't I be getting a lot more than I am with the same boost??? I am only running that because the injectors are getting close to maximum and will run 1.4 once i have bigger ones, but I'm curious as to why my numbers appear so low compared to standard turbo gtr's.. It's not just Pranks car either, others talk about 300 + on standard turbos so do ya think mines not tuned right?? The a/f's are spot on says my tuner... Just a question... Cheers Brett

Soulja, Prestige Motorsport do not offer a refund policy either, just part of the risk associated with importing. Brett -

exhaust & PFC, what should I expect from my GTR?
EVL R33 replied to Simmo's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Hey Guys, I had stock turbos with full exhaust, PFC (with boost kit), k&n panel replacement and stock I/C and got 210hp at all 4 on 1.05bar. I then put a set of 2530's on and power went up to 280 at all 4 on same boost. Last week we fitted a HKS Type R I/C and power went up over 40hp from under 3000rpm to redline with slight increase in boost (1.1) to peak at 320hp. I also believed that the standard cores were good for over 450hp but me experience tells me otherwise... These figures are on a Dyno Dynamics 4wd dyno done in 4wd. Brett -
Just wondering if anyone has bought of these guys? Good or bad?? PM me the bad.... Thanks Brett

Skyline car club.Supported by SST and Per4manz
EVL R33 replied to N I B's topic in Western Australia
Count me in for a club... I have a suggestion. Why can't we have a 'board' of members instead of a president? Majority rules on decisions. Of course most decisions should be done via member votes at meetings so that those who want show and shines will be able to have their say as will those who want to do motorkana's etc.... Sponsership is a good thing in my opinion and something that is needed to get this club up and running. Both parties benefit from it as as Steve has said SST or Per4manz won't be represented in the club it will be Steve and Grant as fellow Skyline enthusiasts... Any night of the week or weekend is good for me as long as I have a bit of notice. Brett Brett -
I have my R33 one out of the car, I'll have a look for ya, but I don't remember seeing nissan on it anywhere... Brett
