Mike, In an old issue of HPI they changed the boost gauge to an aftermarket one. They said it was hell expensive and would have been just as much to buy the full Nismo set. I'd say buy that in black face which will look pretty damn close to standard..... Brett

I'd say it would be cheaper in the long run to sell your GTSt and buy a GTR.. Otherwise pick up a GTS4 and drop an RB26 into that, then you have ATTESA... A mate of mine has put an RB26 into his GTS, engine dyno'd at over 700hp, thing is an animal in the dry in any gear... I like the grip of my GTR Brett

Nissaner, In the Settings menu go to boost and there will be 4 settings and solonoid duty cycle. The boost you set (ie 1.2bar) is where the PFC sets the boost cut. You then use the duty cycle to bring the boost level up to what you want. So if you have the PFC set at 1.35bar, and the duty cycle brings boost up to 1.35bar then you will encounter boost cut... Brenden, I have a twin plate in my R and my girlfriend has driven it once. She doesnt' have a manual licence so she took it for a 'lesson' and had no problems with it at all. That's someone who has never driven a manual before. I think she stalled it twice, and a mate of mine who has a jap import with a heavy single stalled my car 3 times so go figure.. I'm not sure of the brand of mine, I'm going to get my mechanic to drop the gearbox next time it's in there and see exactly what i've got.. Brett

Does taking the front drive shaft off or pulling the fuse cause any problems?? Is it hard to get the front shaft off (like a quick 5 min job type thing??) Brett

Leewah, I'm running 245's Goodyear Eagle F1 DS-G3's, they are pretty darn sticky so I was hoping they would be enough down the drags too.... 310rwkw!!!!!! Thats over 410hp at the wheels. If I'm getting 205kw's at all 4 wheels, what would that be at just the rears?? Do you know how to get an R33 into rear wheel only drive?? We are running the PFC rich at the moment and only using 1 bar as the stock injectors are maxing out already. I might pm emre and see what he has done exactly.. Cheers Brett

Hey Guys, I've just put in a set of HKS 2530's into my R33 GTR. I've also got full exhaust, HKS Dumps, Power FC Pro with boost controller, Twin plate clutch. At 1 bar on a Dyno Dynamics 4wd dyno we got 275hp at all 4 wheels. I'm putting in bigger injectors, HKS Cam gears, HKS Type R FMIC and turning the boost up to around 1.4 bar. We are hoping for around the 350 - 375hp at all 4 wheels. Assuming that I can drive it well down the strip on 245/40/18 tyres, is it possible to get into the 11's with this set up??? I'll know in a few weeks, just wondering what everyone's thoughts are? Cheers Brett

Munro, Yeah the 540's are excellent for track work, but when you are talking 5,000 - 7,000km's from a set of tyres worth around the $400 each mark it gets pretty expensive!!!!! ha ha ha Nissaner, A few guys I know are using them, swear by them for grip, but they are REALLY noisy and wear really fast, they are semi slicks after all.... Would be wicked as a spare set for track days or drags... Brett
