  1. Boys, I ain't stressing, and we ain't squabbling, I'm just not one to get caught up in the 'I'll run 12's for sure' bullsh*t that goes on sometimes..   2. Nothing like a little pressure hey fellas!!!!! I have ABSOLUTELY no idea what times I'll run tomorrow, but I picked up my helmet today so now I don't need to scab them off mates anymore and I'm good to go!!!!! Rev, the car has done really low k's runs sweet and pulls really hard with no flat spots so i'm hoping to lay down some good times.. I'll be very happy with mid 13's for now, I've only ever been to the drags twice before, and the last time I only did 3 runs as there were over 180 cars and about an hour wait between go's.... Anyone going with a camera (still or video), would love a couple of piccies of the gtr, don't own my own camera, rather spend money on cars!!!!! :headbang:
  3. Macka, Yeah true with the full zorst I'll be running a bit more boost than standard, guess I'll just wait and see what time's I get... Deesh, I never underestimate the 180's, a few mates have them and god damn even stock they hammer.. But I'll give you a go.. Adam, Yeah a 12 is bragging rights, but a 12 in a gtst is better than a 12 in a gtr right!!!! SOOO I guess I'll have to aim for 11's then!!! ha ha ha ha ha.

Macka, It's still running standard boost, so I'm guessing (and only guessing) that a mid 13 might be possible as is, hopefully with the power fc, cam gears and 1 bar 12's should be gotten (as long as I can learn to drive it properly).... I'd say we would have a good run, a 12.8 is damn fast for a gtst!!! You must have some crazy mid range power!!!! You going tomorrow night???? Brett
  5. Hicks, No offence taken dude, I agree totally!!!!! But in my defence I never put the tyres down, had crappy tyres that spun in 1st, 2nd and 3rd and had 2 x 12" subs, 2 amps and spare tyre in the boot!!!! (I know most of you have the same and run faster times but that's not important:lol: ) Had some fun in the R last night, tried my first 6k launch, chopped a new WRX and some flashy little turbo car (hatch with full kit, 5 in 1 paint job etc... I didn't realise how fast the R was until I actually ran someone, can't wait for more power !!!!!! ;) Anyone else think I might hit the speed cut before the end of the 1/4 tomorrow night?? I have no idea of terminal speeds I'll get... Brett
  6. Kym, The best I could ever manage with the GTS was a 14.5... That was with full exhaust, pod, Power FC and 0.8bar. Crap driver was the cause I think.. So I thought F*&K it and got a GTR, now it's just 7000rpm and go!!! ha ha ha ha 13 seconds here I come... Brett
  7. The JUN cam gears are full steel, and I'm told use more bolts to hold the adjustment so there is less chance of slippage (HKS apparently do that too).... They are not as pretty as HKS ones, but I intend of leaving the cover on anyway, I'm just after reliable power increases these days not ricey looks.... Brett
  8. Croydon Racing Development over east is a JUN supplier and they quoted me a good price for RB26's, you can try them but they want cash up front..... Speedworks here in perth are JUN distributers too and they matched the Croydon price for me so I went through them. If you ring make sure you talk to Glen cause he knows the current pricing of the cam gears. Brett
  9. I've ordered a set of JUN cam gears. I was looking at HKS but was told by a couple of reputable guys that they have used them and had problems with teeth breaking and wearing out due to them being made of aluminium.. the JUN cams will cost me around $600 (IN and EX) for the RB26, not sure what the single for GTST's will be.. I can talk to the guy I'm getting them off for a group price if you like.. I think I've seen your car before, do you live / hang around south of the river, canning vale area a bit??? Brett
  10. Dude, the R is stock as a rock except for twin plate clutch and full exhaust. I have no idea what times to expect, so I'm not going to make any predictions in regards to times/wins etc.. I have a Power FC Pro with 15psi, cam gears and new panel filter lined up for early in the new year so that should make a bit of difference then.... As far as tyres go I'm running 255's but have no idea of brand... Thankfully now I don't need to worry so much about tyre pressure (gotta love the ATTESSA PRO)... What colour is your car, I'll keep an eye out for ya... Brett

  12. I got a quote from a JUN Supplier over east for $280 each ($560 a set) and our guy over here in Perth can do them the same price... Not flashy looking like the Purple and blue HKS ones but I don't intend on driving around with the cam cover off anyway.... Brett
  13. Most GTR specs list them as 418cc's, but I've heard as much as 440cc..... Nismokid, you do know that they won't fit onto a gtst right? Not without a custom fuel rail anyway... Brett
  14. Jimx, I'm getting some adjustable cam gears for my 'line too. I was going to get HKS but have been deterred buy a few people who have said the HKS can be unreliable and break too easy due to being made from aluminium.. Apparently they have a habit of wearing the teeth out and the timing slipping. These guys do have very big hp cars so maybe for the average joe like us it would be ok, but I'm going for a set of JUN steel cams sprockets which are only about $60 more than HKS for the set.... Just my 2c... Brett

  16. Silver, the Boost control is set to 'on' when you plug the Power FC in, you have to manually change it to off if you don't have the kit.. Maybe your tuner didn't know this. I have a new Power FC with Boost controller sitting in the drawer at home waiting to go into my new R33 GTR, just waiting on some cam gears.... Can't wait.... Brett

  21. Muck, Sorry for sounding ignorant but what exactly does it do?? I'm guessing it directs the air into the radiator?? And it bolts straight on to an R33 GTR right??? Does it come with everything to put it on?? Brett

  25. PSIKO, Yeah Joe is right it has a twin Plate ceramic clutch (nice rattle with the clutch in), full Exhaust but everything else is stock.. Yeah got some plans for it, HPI had an article on how to get over 400hp with just cat back exhaust, panel filter, adjustable cam gears and 15psi. I'm going to do all that plus I already have full exhaust and am installing Power FC so that should be a pretty decent power upgrade.... That plus some 18's (can you say R34 GTR Rims) ha ha ha and I'll be extremely happy!!!!! Brett
