  1. WHAAAAAAA???? No more doof doof or neighbour annoying exhausts????? FU$k that where do I sign??? ha ha ha
  2. Actually guys and gals we don't legally have the choice not to vote (unlike the US.) If you are over 18 you have to register and vote otherwise you can be fined... Of course you can just not turn up and risk the fine, don't think it's very much from memory.. Also even if Mz Roberts was ousted do you think the Hoon laws will change or disappear???? Doubt it somehow...
  3. Mods please don't move this to the for sale section yet as I really only want to deal with WA people... If you intend on moving it please PM me first. I'm thinking of changing the seats in my car and just wondering if anyone is interested in a set of R33 GTR seats. They are in excellent condition and work as expected. I don't really know what they would be worth but others have sold for around $700 so maybe something around that. I won't be in a position to take them out straight away so if ya keen but don't have the cash right now no sweat, will be looking at a month or so away before I can swap them.. Cheers Brett
  4. Midnight Purple over here....
  5. Car polish does the same job too...
  6. Nice Result congrats, though in your first post you said you already had 424hp at the rears?? Still just under 100hp increase at the wheels is amazing, was the work done down in bunbury or up here in perth?? I've got similar mods to you, including stock internals, I'd think 518 at the rears would be really pushing a standard motor to the limit, anyone else have an opinion??? Cheers Brett
  7. Nathan, Do you have pics of the nismo exhaust? Email to [email protected] if you do thanks Brett
  8. 2 degrees advanced on the Inlet side and 4 degrees retard on the exhaust side is the popular starting point for mid range torque, though that is usually with stock cams but is a good start anyway... Brett
  9. Got pics of the Intercooler piping?? Cheers Brett
  10. Here's the solution to your dilema.... R33 GTR with a R34 GTR front end swap....
  11. You got PM dude.. Brett
  12. Dude, I may be interested in swapping you. I have the stock Vspec suspension in my car. Are the N1's height and or damper adjustable?? What kind of money are you looking for in a swap? I'm in Perth. Cheers Brett
  13. I'm pretty sure rear wipers were an option on the whole range (maybe not N1's), my old GTSt didn't have one, and didn't have the controls on the stalk either so it wasn't a replaced rear window jobbie.... Like most things skyline, it seems you could pretty much create whatever you wanted by checking or unchecking the boxes from the factory... Having said that I have not noticed any 33 GTR's in my area without a rear wiper..... Brett
  14. Dude I got a set of 16" BBS rims no tyres though, if you interested send me a pm. Cheers Brett
  15. A question regarding upgrades guys. I have been looking at maybe upgrading my brembos to a set of 6 piston Wilwood brakes and 4 pots in the rear. Does anyone know if they will be a lot better than the standard brembos?? Cheers Brett
  16. James, I may have a set for sale soon, looking at changing mine, I have a series 1 gtr... Probably ask around $130 each, willing to negotiate on price... let me know. Cheers Brett
  17. My fuel economy hasn't gone up heaps from my old gtst, but the GTR's do use the juice.. I'm pretty sure I know which GTT you are looking at, it's auto right?? It's a decent car, well looked after from what I know about the owner... My choice between that and a 33 GTR would always be the gtr. I love the 34 shape, but unless I can get a 34 gtr I'll be sticking with my 33 gtr... Still, whatever you decide, make sure you join SAUWA and come on cruises... Cheers Brett
  18. I had a leak down test done two weeks ago before we retuned the car.. I was told between 20 - 40% is average, anything near or over 40 is getting bad... All 6 of mine were around 10 - 15%
  19. Fellas, Thanks for the info, might talk to our SAUWA commitee and see if we can get onboard with Whiteline too... Ferni, Nah not HID's though would love a set on there but not the price.... Also it was 421hp at PAS, though we tuned it last weekend on DD shootout and got 404hp at the rears so obviously the hub dyno at PAS was ready fairly high..
  20. GTR-San, Vspecs in 32 guise are different over standard ones because they came with Brembo brakes (stock 32's did not), better attessa 4wd system and stiffer suspension from what I know. The difference in the 33's is only the attessa and suspension as all 33 gtr's came with Brembo's. I think the 34's are the same as the 33's... It's up to you, if you get a 33 for instance with coilovers then the only diff is the attessa. A vspec should cost a bit more, and the resale price will probably only reflect that amount of difference.. If you can get a mint non vspec grab it, they are no slower than a vspec.... Brett
  21. Whaaa?? SAU has no Discount with Whiteline??? I'm sure this club has spent PLENTY of dollars with them!!! Least they could do is offer a discount.... Anyway, thanks for the info, I'm keen to hear your opinion once it's all in. What shocks/springs you using currently? So is it worth the 1k for what the handling kit supplies or could you do it cheaper buying the bits seperate from different shops? I was told there is no camber adjustment on the rear of 33 GTRs, and that my camber was way too much. Does the whitline kit fix this? Cheers dude, sounds like your car will be an awesome machine when you are done, go the Purple GTR's... ha ha ha BTW, I dont' have HID lights, and I thought you had similar power to me??
  22. Hey Ferni, Out of interest what did the handling kit and front camber kit cost you supplied, and how much to install? Cheers Brett
  23. We are all patiently waiting for when you bring the R over here John. Will be something not to miss thats for sure.. Reading the article in Speed on your street R (when Doug had it) made me decide to sell my gtst and get a GTR. One of the best articles I've ever read to get the blood pumping thats for sure!!! ha ha Also followed the build up in HPI every issue, that is one of the neatest and thorough cars I've ever seen. Good luck with the drag R, hope it is not too much longer and the results are worth the wait.. Cheers Brett
  24. Nice cars nismokid, great colour with the 33 too... Much mods done to any of the cars?? Cheers Brett
